“The OHV trails at the National Forest are outstanding. They will accommodate ATVs and dirt bikes. Absolutely nothing wider than 50" will fit down the trails, and no carts or small UTVs can make it through the trails. OTVs must have a registration sticker, and riders must pay a cash fee daily. The routes are challenging, but manageable for everyone as long as you take it easy. Experienced riders can pick up the pace, but watch for tight, blind turns, deep ruts, and trees close enough to potentially do real damage.”

“Had an awesome morning hike with my wife and our furry little family. The trails were Maintained and dog friendly. We only saw 4 other people on a nice sunny, winter day. Worth the 1 hour drive from our house.”

“Always a great week of relaxing and nature. The host are helpful, checking with us daily to make sure our stay is everything we expect. This is mainly a great place to fish and the boat launch is one of the best on the lake. Recent burn makes it look bare, but the new growth is already turning green.”

“Very well marked trail, also has multiple trails to go on. One of the trails ends up at double lake which was a treat from the usual trails that have no actual ending point. Just nice to walk and enjoy the bird sounds and explore nature. I would definitely recommend.”
