“Love the living history and wood smoke of a colonial farm in 1771. This is a picture of the kids militia; they are about to March around. They have some simple food and colonial printing, bookbinding, crafts, toys, and leather goods available at their market fair. Fun for kids and historians all!”

“This is my favorite go to place. Good for relaxing, walking, and photography with its mixed terrain mostly trees and marsh. You can observe some wild animals if you are lucky mainly birds and turtles. For Fall colors come late October, early November. If you are visiting in summer spray yourself with mosquito repellent. Never too crowded.”

“Great place to bike or walk around. There are some trails for mountain biking but you'll need to look them up. If you are in to mountain biking the trail will lead to Wakefield Park. Wakefield is a great place to mountain biking.”

“Good for the kids! Parking can get right if there are several teams playing/practicing. Also, there aren't any public bathrooms so this can be a bit of a challenge in the event of an emergency. As far as I know, these are fields manned by parent coaches so the upkeep depends on all parties involved. Hard to navigate from regular Braddock Road traffic, but it's easy to see from the street.”
