“This is my first overall experience with an urgent care center. I made my appointment online, which was very convenient. Once I checked in, the wait time for my appointment was 15-20 minutes. Masks, social distancing, and hand sanitizers were maintained in the lobby. The staff was very professional and efficient. Tests were performed and all of my needs were met very quickly during the actual encounter. However, the check in process could be fine-tuned. One suggestion is for better check in instructions at the front desk, especially since the online process confirmed that I had already checked in. The receptionist was not present when I arrived, but there were signs asking us to check in. I had to ask a another patient in the lobby. A simple sign requesting that we please complete this encounter form to check in and a receptionist will be with you shortly would be helpful. In addition, in the lobby, I was publicly asked why I was being seen, when I had provided all of the information online. All in all, I was pleased with my experience, and would use Velocity again.I highly recommend Velocity Urgent Care Little Neck to my patients for their urgent care needs. .”
