“My father lived here for 2 years. My father was difficult . When he first moved in he was very grumpy, often would not not cooperate with showers and would be indignant with any suggestion of him needing help. The staff was very patient with him and slowly gained his trust. He remained grumpy but in his own way grew to love the staff here. He enjoyed the weekly drives and the music the most. His care was always outstanding and we never worried about him while he was here. He health declined over the years and he eventually went on hospice. The staff continued to love him until the day he died. When the funeral home arrived to take his sweet body away, the staff gathered and walked him out the door. Most were crying and holding each other as we walked. My family can never repay the love and support felt by these amazing people.”
