“We had a really great time!!! Stayed at the Legoland Beach Resort which was excellent and much less expensive than the hotel. Up to five in a room. Fantastic full buffet breakfast included. Buy park tickets separately for better deal. Season passport was less expensive than two days at both amusement park and water park and had perks like free parking and 10 % off purchases. “This is definitely the place to be if you’re looking for some action and relaxation kid friendly bring sunscreen that’s for sure they got a small water park just enough to satisfy you the lake is beautiful management they just come out and greet you any questions you ask them they have a solid answer they just know the land like the back of their hand in that area it is a special place there are some special birds that come on a regular basis every day if I remember correctly these birds are very rare and you can’t find them unless somebody guide you to them. The campground well I’ll tell you it’s fantastic whether you’re pitching a tent or pulling in a small RV they can accommodate you. We have a large family large as in extremely large some of my family wanted to camp with their children in the tent great experience the lake is Low I guess because of the drought. It’s amazing we booked one whole area of the park and we requested four trailers they bring they bring the trailers and set everything up air conditioning propane tank cooking sleeping for eight people including children but you can work it out and add more people into your trailer comfortably just everything you need to make you comfortable. It says waterpark adventure it is at the rest of the day and morning and after the park closes for the water adventure that’s when you throw the logs on the fire place let the children play badminton soccer volleyball etc. we brought the equipment but they have the area it’s nice to have a place when they say it’s private it’s by reservation only book an advance what you have to do anyway They have a great general store you could drive or walk to it’s pretty cool made friends with the owner waited for the ice truck like everybody else it is an adventure hot by daytime kind a cool my night time but with the campfire very comfortable. It is the place we go regularly now and will be planning another trip soon. Thank you to the employees and the owner and the host turned in To a incredible weekend we actually did it on Fourth of July we thought it would be a madhouse but it wasn’t very pleasant check it out it’s in between the mountain and the ocean what a great deal and if you’re in the Southern California area it’ll be a short trip about one hour 20 minutes that’s about the same waiting time in the Los Angeles area once you’re out of Los Angeles it’s great when I say it’s great is that you could pull over to all of The fruit stands antique stores small little town and just have a blast. I’m going back I hope you check it out specially if you’re in the Southern California area. Thank you to the staff and will see you soon. After many years at the same residence over 25 years we relocated just around the corner but the photos are available it’s just a matter of me getting to them as a large family it’s hard to keep up with everything.Thank you to the general store in the host in the employees that work there it is a very large place to take care of and they are doing an excellent job. Thank you”

“Fun ! I did the mini golf years ago. Last week, I did the go karts... They were a blast. However, we did not quite enjoy the batting cages, most of the pitches were too high !!!! Way above our heads !!!! I think the machine needs a good adjustment. I didn't want to take a star off of the review because of that. Otherwise, me and my bf had a blast and we are in our late 20s.”

I informed the owner I spoke to his wife and was told to call back in 30 minutes to leave my deposit for July 7 and she never answered. I was told well we are close maybe we can airball. That was one of the best decision we made. The owner Randy and his wife along with two of the best referees stayed for an additional two hours to accommodate us and we had the best time ever. If you and a group of friends want something exciting go see them.”

We were a family of 5 and found we only needed a locker to rent. We were enjoying ourselves too much for a table. Although, if we had stayed longer that 3 hours we probably would have. Staff was helpful and friendly, too.”

JayDee's Family Fun Center

Amusement park Gym Health

“Utilized the arcade and the nature center on a hot day to avoid being outside. two sets of tokens and nature center visit for 2 cost $22. Each game in the arcade pretty much takes 2 tokens, with the exception of a few. The center is a little old but has charm to it. My 12 yr old enjoyed it. The nature center has live animals, mainly reptiles and birds. Also alot of interesting rooms that teach kids about nature. Especially fitting for the little ones. As long as you're not expecting a 5 star facility you'll enjoy your time here.”

Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier

Address: 2501 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77550, USA

Amusement park

“Has a great family environment with some awesome rides! However, the "circus" style games (like ring toss, basketball free throw, or darts, etc)to play are under manned, and need a better change system. For example, if you use cash to play games the workers need to run to find change. However, you can buy tokens to use at the entrance. On the positive side, the prizes are worth the money paid and the rides are amazing. Overall, 4.5 out of 5.0 recommended.”
