The locals that live/camp there season round are all very friendly families. Well kept clean campground. Family and kid friendly. Fishing. Primitive camping with and without electric. Plenty of RV camping. The local store does little pot lucks on Saturdays. Once a month they usually do a special event. Showers and bathrooms. Very clean, hot water. Pretty nice. My home away from home. Love this place, love the people, love the area, love the KY river.”

In their defense, the employees working that night were slammed since all the other local options were closed. Customer service refunded my missing items, so overall it was just a bit of an inconvenience. Most nights I get great service and delicious food here. Tonight (1/26/2022) the cashier even asked if I needed a straw and brought it to me as I was about to walk out the door. I really think you will have a very tough time finding a better Sheetz or late night snack provider in this area.”
