“Stayed here in our 35 ft motorhome towing a Jeep. It is a quiet place right on Turtle Bayou and run by the sweetest couple. The grounds are impeccable and they have a pier if you like to fish. The bathrooms were incredibly nice! Brand new and resemble a high end hotel (no lie)! Beautiful granite countertops, roomy showers with beautiful new tile (not plastic showers) and spotless!! We stopped here passing on our way home from Florida and it was the perfect spot. ????”

“Last year (2018) the wife and I stayed at Bucksaw .and had a wonderful time. We used our 21' camper. It was an all around very comfortable experience. Also provided a good boat ramp for easy access to Truman lake.”

“This is a great campground! It's convenient to many tourist areas in PA, yet it's off the beaten path so it's quiet and secluded. Many sites are up against a little stream and the sites are spacious. Sites do seem to be muddy near the water, but that's going to depend on recent weather. Fun activities, and recreational items are away from most sites so you don't hear kids yelling all day and night. Camp store is well stocked and the staff are friendly. We already made reservations for next season.”

“Nice place. Very full campground. Laundry is $2 to wash & $2 to dry. Bathrooms are kept locked at all times so you need to get a key if you need that. Wifi works pretty good as well. Passing thought for 4 days on our way to Florida.”

“Camping at GPSP site 162. We camped here in mid Oct and the weather was great. The sites in the stretch we were on initially seem small, but are actually just right. There is a nice gravel pad for the tent, our 18×10 tent went over the edge a bit, but it is not a raised pad so all was good. Despite neighbors being close we did not feel cramped. Bath houses are nice and clean, hot water in the shower. It's a large campground, so lots of walking or biking around it, and there are nice hiking trails without need to drive to them, but also a lot to explore from the other side of the lake too. Very nice lake for kayaking, rentals available. Our second time there, we will return.”

“This beautiful little camp is great for a weekend getaway with a small group or family. It can also be used for special events. The wedding there was beautiful and convenient. Tune staff was unobtrusive, but just made the rules clear from the start. It's a clean camp perfect for quiet quality time. I definitely recommend you bring board games.”

“The location is tucked away and surrounded by beautiful trees. People here are kind and caring towards each other, like a family. When humans are stripped of the material items like fancy jewels and clothes, it forces you to “see” one another as a life form. More of the REAL you, not the things we use to disguise and create an appearance. It’s humbling! Not everyone’s cup of tea for sure, but if you’re able to set modesty and being self-conscious aside for a bit, a place like this will help you see life with a different view/perspective. People tend to be more REAL! It’s not a fancy facility, but it’s clean and quiet. There’s a small clothing optional cafe to get some home cooked (and reasonably priced) foods. Hits the spot pool side on a hot summer day! Perfect if you’re wanting to avoid tan lines :)”
