  Beautiful park! Busy, but quiet. Lots of wildlife. Walk-to sites offer a lot of privacy. Will definitely return!

  Beautiful campground in Rocky Mountain NP with a great mix of tent and RV sites. We stayed in Loop A, Site 46, and appreciated its close proximity to the restrooms and extra privacy, given the wooded hill directly behind our site. During busy seasons (particularly the fall), definitely reserve online in advance; as of October it's currently the only campground open in the park and it fills quickly during fall foliage time, even on weekdays. Lots of elk and deer nearby and in the campground, so stay alert and enjoy their beauty from a safe distance!

  Don’t forget cash or you will have NO fire. Other than that, beautiful campsite within close proximity to gorgeous views and hikes. The sites were pretty spacious and quite, bathrooms were clean and trails were well maintained.

  The campground is crowded but beautiful. The woman selling firewood was very rude. As a resident of Colorado, I felt embarrassed by her behavior to visitors. We wanted 4 bundles of wood- the cost $22, which we had exactly because we knew change was difficult. That wasn’t good enough- she didn’t want a $20 and 2 $1s. She wanted 5s so she wouldn’t sell us 4 bundles. As we scrounged for smaller bills, We heard her doing the same rude conversation with others. Buy your wood elsewhere in the area. The rest of our camping was wonderful. Park is beautiful. Campers were respectful.

  Great campground and amazing place to stay at. Campground has freshly paved roads, restrooms and water stations are in near proximity. Camping spots aren’t too far apart so you will encounter neighbors, and as not every site has a food storage box you are most likely going to share it with them. You can get fire wood from campground host. Quiet hours start at 10 PM. Recommended.
