“We love this campground for many reasons. It is close to all the shopping outlets, the camping sites are very generous in size and clean. The staff is always helpful and kind. The camp store always has whatever I have needed (even grape jelly). The showers and bathrooms are always clean and bright. The campground is pretty as one side of it is next to a little stream and there are lots of trees everywhere which not only provide shade but also privacy. An added plus to this campground is that it is so close to Dutch Wonderland! You can actually walk there from the campground. I am looking forward to going back to this campground for another mini-vacation.”

“This campground was great and the spot we had was fantastic. We had plenty of space, a nice big yard, picnic table and a fire ring. The campground was very clean, well kept and had plenty of amenities. All the staff were very pleasant to interact with and made our stay that much better. They had a pool at this campground which was very clean and all the furniture was nice and in perfect working condition. They also had a mini golf course which we didn't use but was neat that they had one. We will definitely be staying here again as this was a great campground!”

“I had my first tandem jump with Christian Cody on Saturday. Such an amazing experience! From the beginning, registration to picking up our photos, full professionalism and fun at the same time! Christian was an amazing instructor and made the experience safe and fun! My husband and myself bought the picture and video package and highly recommend it to anyone who is jumping for the first time. Great memories! Can't wait to do it again!”

“This is my favorite place to go camping in all of Indiana. My family and I went here every year growing up. There are beautiful cliffs wrapped around the lake, great hiking trails that make you feel like you are in a whole different state. Also there is scuba gear you can rent so you can explore the vehicles that are sunk in the lake .”

“New ownership has really been trying to do good things. Music can be loud and inappropriate at times, but service is overall warm and inviting. Recent renovations and additional outdoor facilities are welcomed additions.”

“This was probably the best scout camp I’ve been too yet! All the counselors get to know you act like there your friend in the first few days at camp! Camp sites are nice and the Mountain View is really pretty! Definitely would want to come back here”

“Awesome place! You DO need a permit during certain times of the year. I didn't know that and didn't see any signs about that, but I found out the hard way. They were extremely friendly, but have a job to do and are trying to strictly enforce the permit system.”

“Easy hike! Parking is tough so come early or you will have to turn around and hike somewhere else. If you park illegally you WILL get a ticket!”

“My buddy and I hiked to Lake Edith. The trail is a mix of oh my goodness elevation gain , look at these cool roots and trees, flat easy walking, beautiful views, plenty of friendly dogs that need some petting and super friendly dog chaperones and hikers. 10 of 10 would do again . Nearly the elevation gain of an easier 14er with 3000 ft extra oxygen !”

“Wow, I think we found our absolute favorite campground in CO. Beautiful creek which is perfect for kids/dog/everyone. Surrounded by stunning rock outcroppings scenery. Stunning starry nights with the Milky Way visible due to elevation yet not freezing cold (in summer). Huge thanks to the hosts who got us out of a very sticky situation of a flat tire AND flat car battery (and no reception nor cell battery if we couldn't have fixed it!). Thank goodness for the niceness of strangers. Tip: the bathrooms by the bridge are much better than the outhouse-style bathroom on the loop. Use those. If you want to camp across the bridge, you have to park your car and walk in. We chose to car camp as walking to the creek only takes seconds anyway - but the drawback of these sites is no shade if you don't have your own awning/gazebo. Tons of people bring tubes to play on the water. Busy site but didn't feel cramped even full on Labor Day - IMO.”

“We have been here since April and absolutly adore this place! I have read some of the previous reviews, and it's very clear to me that these are residents that are trying to make management look bad because they only follow the rules THEY want to, and may have been told more than once to get they're issues fixed. Rules are simple and must be followed to keep this campground, Motels, and permanent residents areas in some sort of order to make everyone happy. Miss Laura and her husband Tom would give you the shirts off they're backs so if you are planning to come visit, ignore the retaliation reviews because this park has the Most beautiful sunset we have ever seen, and the Lake, well those reviews speak.for themselves! Come see for yourself.”
