“Beautiful group campground near the top of the area. Remote enough so there is no cell phone coverage and limited water, but there are toilets and good parking. We have used it twice now for large group camping with 40+ attending. Spaces for the whole group crowd around a fire or lay out grills to serve pancakes and sausage to the whole group.”

“We camped at the Valley Forge Campground, but we came here on a day hike. They have a nice, refreshing stream, which is very good for purifying water, multiple benches, and signs, signs of civilization. The reason I rate this a four star is because I ALMOST got bitten by a baby rattlesnake here.”

“Nice campground! We were situated in an area of the woods because we had a group of 3 sites. Great wooded area for us and very large compared to some we've been to. The bathroom house was a bit dated and could use a renovation but it is what it is. Would go camping there again!”

“Although mainly a seasonal campground, they have the ability to accommodate weekenders like us. We stayed there for the first time this past weekend and we were very pleased with the Campground. We liked it so much that we are getting a seasonal spot next year. Lana was so great and helpful. It's the perfect spot to get to Atlantic City, Ocean City and Cape May. Definitely recommend this Campground to anyone.”

“Beautiful camp ground about a mile south of newcombs ranch. On site bathrooms and water. Fires are allowed in fire pits. Winds got a little out of hand when we were up there, but outside of that. Awesome camp ground. Only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because the ground is full of solid rocks just under the surface dirt. Making it hard to drive spikes for a tent.”

“There is no cellphone coverage in this area so you need to be prepared in terms of finding the location (working with offline GPS) and also keep in mind you can not call or text anymore. It's a beautiful, peaceful, clean and not crowded picnic area located near the campground and the visitors center, there is a convenient and free parking lot. Near each picnic area water and fire pit. Takes almost one hour drive from Sunland-Tujunga.”

“Just bought a property in July 2018. This place is exactly what another reviewer said....a HIDDEN GEM. Beautiful, terrific neighbors, the perfect park for us. The lake is just breathtaking, and the pool, playground, and other amenities are all extra goodies! The board members are also terrific. Transparent, open, and concerned are just a few words we could use! We are SO very happy we are now part of such a terrific park!! :-)”

“Exceeds expectation! This place was so great to call home for 3 months. Every amenity you can think of. Clean and accommodating. Staff is amazing to work with. Even went direct to my site and let my dog out when dog walker didn’t show up. Pool and splash park very clean. Sauna and hot tub as well. Cafe on site was clean and delicious. On site mechanics are certified and unbelievably fast to help with any concern. Just a hop on the bus in the park to metro to DC or a short drive. Just down the road both ways are grocery stores, hardware stores and just about anything else you could need. Love this place.”

“We went during the first week of the off season, there was a lot more people than I thought there would be! That shows me the place must be popular. The cabin we stayed in was cute and clean and accomodating. My only concern was that we had an almost one year old with us and there was no room in either bedroom for her pack and play. One room had bunk beds but no storage, one room had a giant bed but also drawers and storage. Overall we had an amazing stay and we will be back.”

“Just starting going here in Aug. My husband and I came by one weekend and stayed with friends that have a site here, we fell in love with it. We never owned a camper, this is our first time doing this. Before we left for that weekend we put a deposit on a site to hold it (nope didn't have a camper yet!!!). That night I went home and bought a camper site unseen. Couldn't be more happy with what we did. We brought our new camper in the following week, and cant get enough of being at Holiday Haven. 100% a great place to be. The owners are very nice people, and everyone that works there is great. There is always something to do. The bath houses are always clean, and the pool is beautiful. if your looking for a great place to call your camper home this is the place.
