“Such a wonderful campground! My husband and I came for a weekend to get away from the craziness and the hustle and bustle and Poplar Point was too perfect. The sites are really well-spaced out and everything is so clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the trails and lake access are so convenient and clean too! If you are unable to reserve a site ahead of time and have to grab a FF (first come first serve) site like we did, be sure to get there before 5 on Friday to make sure there are sites available because they fill up FAST and there’s a line to check-in. All in all, such a great and beautiful place!!”

“Nice campground still has water and flushing a bathroom in winter. Stayed in peak view loop and had some lovely views of the mountains facing towards the road. You are up in elevation so be prepared for cooler weather any sort of elevation sickness and adjustments for cooking.”

“We just used Hidden Hollow for my daughter's grad party. Perfect for a party of 75 or less. It is not air conditioned so i recommend bringing a fan. Also, in the back there were wasps nests near the top of the chimney and on the same side as the grill, so I recommend caution. However even with that, it was clean, convenient, and worth the money for the venue.”
