They have always been spot on with the river conditions whenever we went. Security was always good. Had problems with a scout troop and they stood up for what was right. “The owners are making progress in getting this great location back to its former glory. The Dock bar and grill has good food and is an added bonus you usually don't get at a campground. What else can you ask for? good food, great drinks, live music and a beach to play on!!! If your looking for a laid back, fun get away with kids and family this is your spot. The pool was an added bonus once it opened.”

“Regarding the store near Telegraph and West in Brownstown. I needed a few specific automotive hose adapters to backflush the heater core in my daughter's 2011 Edge. I was undertaking a real red neck operation, and needed to connect two car hoses to garden hoses. And I found the 3/4 diameter adapters! Very happy! Then I needed radiator fluid and distilled water. They had the radiator but do not carry distilled water. Very sad! Therefore, four stars. Had to go to a grocery store for the water. I gave them 5 stars.”

I would suggest against bringing children. The site is completely surrounded by water and there is a narrow bridge to get across to the campsite (See Attached Photos).”

“Way cheaper than anything in Colorado Springs, and only 12 miles up the road. We stayed for 4 nights and used virtually all their facilities and amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Fairly secluded park with not to bad traffic noise, despite being pretty near the interstate. Easy to get in and out of.”

“I went camping with a group of 5. The camp grounds were clean. It was easy to pay. Bathrooms were clean. There were a few spots left open. I stayed two nights three days. Water hydrants were still on. Good thing I took a small heater it got down to 25°F the last night. Great place. I can't wait to take my kids there next year.”
