“This is a lovely place. The people who work there are kind, considerate and respectful. It isn't a place where we want to be for obvious reasons but I think it's the best cemetery in our area. The office workers are helpful during these difficult times. The grounds workers are so welcoming and the place is so clean that it resembles a park-like setting. Been walking around the place for about 20 years and feel safe and enjoy taking in the wildlife and landscaping.”

“My Grandparents on My Mother's side are "LAID TO REST" here at The "WEST VIEW CEMETERY". SEVERAL Aunts, Uncles & Cousins are ALSO "RESTING IN PEACE" here. I REMEMBER on BEAUTIFULLY SUNNY Sunday Afternoons that My Mom & Dad would bring Water Jugs, Clean Dirt & Fresh Smelling Flowers to the GRAVE SITES to get rid of the Dead (NO PUN INTENDED) Flowers & Weeds that had GROWN Around their GRAVE MARKERS. "WEST VIEW CEMETERY" has a DEDICATED GROUP OF WORKERS Who would take care of the MASSIVE LANDSCAPE & the Many GRAVES that Dotted the CEMETERY'S GROUNDS. My Mom & Dad tho WANTED to TAKE CARE of the "GRAVE SITES" their way. The SWEET SMELL of FRESHLY MOWED GRASS & the Quiet Sound of tree branches rustling in the BREEZE was APPRECIATED while we were SPRUCING UP My FAMILIES GRAVE SITES. UNFORTUNATELY, I've LOST MORE Family Members than I'd CARE TO THINK about. But You COULDN'T PICK A MORE BEAUTIFUL "RESTING PLACE" than "WEST VIEW CEMETERY".”

Come visit and see where some of Jacksonville’s most prominent citizens chose as their final resting place. There is a beautiful funeral home located on the property as well as event center. They just added San Marco Estates which is a new burial area inside the existing Cemetery on beautiful land.”

“Evan helped me pick out some boulders to be delivered to our townhome complex. The price was excellent and the customer service Evan gave was great. I was very apprehensive about the boulders coming knowing that it was not going to be easy to place them in the landscape but the delivery driver was excellent. He did his best not to block traffic on the main road while he was trying to load his truck. He was excellent at placing the boulders in the landscape exactly how we wanted them without messing anything up. I would highly recommend this company!”

“We used Broadway Mortuary for both my parents and with both, the folks at Broadway were overwhelmingly accommodating. I honestly wouldn't consider using another mortuary. From the preparation of our loved ones, to the ease of processing paperwork and picking out a casket and even coming in on the weekends to accommodate our wishes, they exceeded every expectation. “This company was hired by my contractor and West Texas dropped off the rock after my contractor had previously sent a picture of his credit card for a different transaction. When they dropped off the rock it was assumed that they charged the card, as he did not have a credit/charge account with West Texas. Now, I am the homeowner and after a very short amount of time from my perspective, West Texas sent a letter from their lawyer in regards to placing a lein on the homeowners property. According to my contractor, West Texas did not try diligently to collect on the invoice and proceeded prematurely to send out this letter which was the first communication I had received from West Texas. Given this situation, I immediatley called West Texas, and throughout this process they were extremely professional and courteous with me. Perhaps, the my contractor had not provided me with the most appropriate information. While I understand the legal standpoint West Texas has take, I do wish they would have communicated such issues with me prior to sending out this type of letter as I am very much willing to assist. I will say in my dealings, the folks at West Texas were VERY nice, and this was just an unfortunate situation I was put in from the contractor. The only reason I am not listing this contractor is that this is not their business page, and do not think this is the appropriate channel to discuss another business. Thank you West Texas for your professionalism, and from my perspective, the folks I have spoken with genuinely care for their customers.”

“Unique cemetery with a lot of history behind it. Spent a lot of time here doing genealogical research, found several relatives graves here. Great-great grand parents, great grand uncle and other distant relatives from the past. Summer they have tours and events anout the people buries here, and if you dare try the paranormal tours at night. It is awesome!”
