“Our church had been a customer of two of the large national fire and alarm system providers enduring their many mergers and acquisitions and divestments. We sought proposals from several companies in 2018 to determine if better options were available. Aeon Security was selected, and we have only had the most positive experience with Aeon's services from the initial and follow-up sales and needs assessment visits, through the installation itself, and to post installation service when needed. We do not make purchasing decisions based solely on the lower bidder mentality. Cost is a factor, of course, but more important is the detail of the proposal, the flexibility to address our unique needs, the technical expertise and resources, and the availability and accessibility after the sale. Aeon has served us well in all these areas, and was quite competitive in the cost. Our church has had 4-6 construction additions or remodeling over its existence, making it difficult for any provider to trace all the wiring and control panels for servicing, let alone taking over an existing system. Again Aeon excelled - and they were able to determine the cause and correct a pre-Aeon installation issue we had with our intercom system. Several months after the switch to Aeon for our fire and alarm system. we contracted with Aeon to install 14 security cameras in our building. “Not at all bad as far as Walmarts go, they seem to be generally well stocked on the shelves but for delivery they seem to be running out of things quite frequently these days. Perhaps this is normal. But the staff is generally nice, but the one thing I do notice is for there to be a tendency for staff members to be reticent and a little bit shy in regard to offering help or helping people. This could be just because of the neighborhood being somewhat of a rough neighborhood and this part of Minneapolis and people just aren't open to lending a hand to someone they don't know quite so quickly. Being a disabled individual, this does come across as something to be aware of. However on the positive side, being disabled individual, I have noticed that there are almost always more than enough electric carts available.”

“Xfinity / Comcast have ran full-tilt AI in an effort to get away from those pesky human-assistance-on-the-phone days. The new, improved Xfinity has made the phone experience so obnoxious & miserable until we happily run to their brick and mortar stores for help. That's okay. The good news is we can see a human up close now, as long as we don't mind setting aside half our workday to do it. At least the folks who work there are great, for the most part. ***sigh***”

I was able to purchase two albums (on sale even!) which had been published in the early ‘80’s and had been on my wishlist for a long time. Most of the books I looked at were paperbacks, but they had a nice big variety of titles available. I almost missed the “more shopping” room at the back.
