I took in two of my grandmother's chairs to be reupholstered and was told I could order fabric through them or I could buy my own and bring it in--they even suggested nearby fabric shops for me to check out! Most upholstery places want to make money off of selling you overpriced fabric, so this was a truly pleasant surprise! And when I picked up the chairs, I found that the work was beautiful and the price really reasonable.
