“Very good selection of equipment although staff at desk do nothing but greet you, often no paper towels in locker room, tell the staff they say ok then go back to their phone or conversation. It's very busy from 6 am to noon and from 5 pm until around 11:30 pm.Rules are not enforced unless I guess you get caught putting water on the sauna heater even though the tray on top is designed for that, then you're membership gets revoked. People leave bags on floor at equipment and walk off, people don't break down weights off racks, but hey, let the next guy, or girl get those six 45 pound plates off there. But, it's open 24/7, very affordable, and it has a great selection of equipment.”

Machines are generally kept very clean and the staff are as on top of things as they can get, though whoever is at the desk is usually very busy. Not expensive. Worth it.”

“Since they remodeled and renovated the inside of the gym the atmosphere has completely changed. It is no longer a dark cave but a well lit gym where you can actually see and find the machines you want to use. Also the new employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. The trainers are fantastic and work with you to set and meet your goals Jacob and Brittany have helped me out a lot. Jimmy does a fantastic job of keeping the equipment clean and in good shape. Would recommend if your looking for a gym to check this one out.”

The atmosphere of the adult group classes is a very welcoming one and Master Loya manages to accommodate well for everyone even when beginners and more advanced colour belts are mixed into the same class. From my first class in the group session, I felt like part of the family and there is a wonderful sense of community at the dojang. If you're an adult looking to try out Taekwondo, I would definitely recommend trying out USWC Beaverton!”
