“This was a splurge for us to take the all the kids from 1 to 14, but it was enjoyed by all. In preparation for the visit we walked through the process of making the bear including the add-ons and clothing and accessories. I gave each kid a budget so they could make trade-offs between adding something to the inside of the bear or the outside. One kid chose a very cool sound, recorded it multiple times to get it just right, and had it inserted only to find out the sound was very quiet. He was disappointed with that since he used some of his budgeted money and didn't get what he was expecting. Tip: Test out the sound when they put it on the recording device before its inserted. Giving a budget avoided the inevitable begging at every point along the way. And they pick out the items that are really meaningful to them. Overall a great (although pricey) experience.”

Jory’s team was terrific (Thomas on demolition, kept surrounding clean and safe and done quickly, Brad was an excellent foreman and did terrific work on the all the installation, and Alex was fantastic with the tile, quite the artist, painter/plasterer was quick, clean, and did a great job). Jory is all about the quality and very responsive. We did butt heads on design a bit but as we listened to Jory’s concerns and he listened to our care about we arrived at a fantastic product. We appreciate all the hard work and effort. Bathrooms are great. Recommend having a great outside designer and product person like Barbara Langan at Old World Cabinetry for fixtures also as knowledgeable people are instrumental in the outcome as well. “Wow! Wow! Wow! Very pleased with Mark's work refinishing two 1980's, beige fiberglass tub & shower surrounds to brilliant white. He is meticulous and takes pride in doing a great job and making sure the customer is satisfied. His prices are are fair (and less expensive than his competitors) and he is easy to work with. The pic below is before and after of the shower surround. The lighting is bad in this room, but the white is VERY white and shiny. It looks brand new. (The refinishing was still wet when the "white" photo was taken, which explains the missing drain cover. That was easy for me to add later.) I highly recommend Mark and his work. Couldn't be happier!”

“This was my first experience at Shaker Violin. Steve was exceedingly generous and helpful and repaired my father’s cello. It was immediately obvious that Steve is very passionate about his work and took time to explain the reason he picked a certain method and tools for the repair to be done. As a bonus Steve took interest in a possible fix for cracks in my classical guitar and invited my to bring the instrument over. After assessing the nature of the crack I agreed with his suggestion to stabilize the crack. Needless to say I highly recommend Steve for any violin/cello repair. He far exceeded my expectations! “We were hesitant to paint our wood cabinets but the light cherry was looking “tired”. After meeting with a few companies and then seeing the great reviews for Renew, I called them. I spoke to Paula, who was very pleasant to deal with and we set up a consult. Gary came out, answered our questions and gave us a competitive quote on the spot. We set up the appointment for May 17, 2022. Tony called the Friday before to review what was going to happen and answer any questions. Just as described, Josh and his apprentice, Jake, showed up Tuesday morning (after Josh called with his ETA which was helpful). He reviewed everything that was going to happen over the next four days and that we would not have access to the kitchen for only a very short time (maybe one night). Based on how he and Jake set it up, after prepping and sealing everything off , we actually had enough access and it was a very fast and efficient process. We mainly dealt with Josh and he was great. Not only was he a good communicator and timely, he was detail-oriented and very good to deal with. He takes pride in what he does. In the end, we are very happy with our decision and we have already gotten many compliments on the “new kitchen”. Great job!”
