“I had a Total Knee Replacement with Dr. Charles Claps on 8/10/2022. I do not have one negative thing to say. From the front desk, to the back staff, PA and Doctor, my experience was excellent. John Michael is Dr. Claps PA. He is so compassionate and is truly amazing. He sincerely listened and provided answers to my 500,000 questions, I am honestly saying from the first visit until today, and I am 2 months post surgery, I have felt comfortable, and well informed. My surgery was performed at Piedmont Fayette. I was told on more than one occasion that Dr. Claps is new age medicine and has the best recovery program around. I am proof of this, because I’m walking better than I have in 10 years. I am so very thankful to Dr. Claps and John Michael and everyone at Resurgens on their team. “This Hospital is a very special place. All the Staff is very Friendly and very Professional with their treatment. The Nurses keep you informed on all your medications and explain all procedures. The Food is so good it is like ordering from a fine Restaurant with a complete menu. The Rooms are so nice & keep clean everyday. There is a Healing Garden with a large Pond and with so many Beautiful flowers Just out side the Hospital. I can't think of a Better Place to go if your in need of a newly Modern Hospital. Jim”

“I've taken my very elderly mom to the NYC hospitals with the best reviews and as it turned out she received great care right near home. She was in critical condition so EMS went to the nearest hospital. Happy with the critical care triage, doctors, nurses, PCAs and the other specialties such as physical therapy speech and swallow, nutrition etc. The only thing that needs improvement is more frequent checking on patients on the floor. Not as frequent rounding as other hospitals. Overall, it's a relief to know that there is quality care in our community. There's a lot of heart and compassion here.”

“this isn't actually a review, but I want everyone to notice something really interesting: Googling "direct primary care near me" comes up with direct primary care offices as well as primary care offices (boolean algorithms are still quite inefficient)- the differential between the quality of ratings blew my mind. Just look at the ratings for most medical practices on the average, then compare with the stellar ratings for every direct primary care practice that comes up. IT'S UNREAL!!! It's like an average of 3 stars with a smattering of 1 star ratings (this genuinely terrifies me considering these are SICK PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP being treated at a 1-star level) but the DPC practices are all 5 stars. 5 like all across the board. I've never seen such a high differential in Google ratings in my life and I'm a highly active internet user since the 90s. DPC is the future of healthcare!!! It's about time because these traditional practices do not appear to run very well.”

Came in to the ER and the first person we talked to was Susan Upright and she was friendly and super helpful. The ER was crowded but it appeared that she and the staff were doing what they could to accommodate everyone in the ER to the best of their abilities. The ER staff member Cody Yates was another standout! Very helpful and encouraging. He answered questions and assisted in moving me around since I had limited mobility. After that, I saw many different staff members. All helpful. All friendly. Thank you Albany Med for doing a great job.”
