“Stayed here while visiting for a job interview at the University of Oklahoma. I was able to get an early check in which was very much appreciated after a long, early day of travel. The first thing that I noticed was the whole suite was clean. Yes, it’s a bit dated of a facility but I had a great experience. I did not have someone staying in the attached room of 414. For the most part it was very quiet. The frat house next door did play some VERY loud music the second evening. Although I did not use the kitchenette it was a nice bonus. If I’m the area again I would look into staying here. Boomer Sooner!!”

“Five of us stayed at the Guest House here for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay immensely! The accommodations were excellent with the pool/jacuzzi area in particular being a highlight. The team was incredibly responsive both leading up to and during the stay. The location was great as well, being tucked away peacefully up in the hills but still conveniently close to town and points of interest. I'd highly recommend the Retreat and would stay again in a heartbeat next time I'm in the area!”

Everything was beyond our expectations...from the lovely decor, wine, closeness to historic downtown Sanford and the comfortable feel of home all to the extraordinary breakfast and history behind the house itself...we were just so pleased! “We were recently awarded a free 4-day and 3-night stay at Tres Rios Resort, Glen Rose TX. Upon arrival, we were given an appointment for the following morning at 9 a.m. for our 90-minute presentation. The presentation went well, and it began with Katie who explained everything about membership with Ocean Canyon Resorts, and she gave us a tour of the property. It is historical, well kept and quite impressive. We then met Kelly who gave us a detailed breakdown of the overall and long-term value of having a membership. The entire presentation lasted about 90 minutes. After weighing the pros and cons, my husband and I decided that we were not ready to commit to a quick decision, and we declined the offer. Understandably, Katie and Kelly were hoping to make a sale, yet neither made us feel that we were being pressured. We parted ways with a $150 check, as promised, and a certificate for future free nights. We enjoyed the following days camping, touring the grounds, visiting other members, using the amenities, attending the Happy Trails Cowboy Church on site, and seeing what the town of Glen Rose had to offer. Surprisingly, we met many local residents that were members of Tres Rios, and they unintentionally made a pretty convincing sales pitches themselves. This has caused us to reconsider. As we told Katie and Kelly upon leaving, "you'll probably see us again."”

Christie keeps place running like a fine oiled machine, awhile Soon Mi and here staff keeps the rooms clean. “We had a fantastic time at the Mansion Inn! Jessica sent me a message the day of our reservation asking about our expected check in time. She said she would watch for us and she greeted us at the door! Right away, she welcomed us warmly and showed us around. We both felt like we were checking in with a friend, not a stranger! Jessica made us feel very welcome! She texted later to give us a choice of a served breakfast, or to go. We asked for a served breakfast. We had some really good blueberry pancake type dish with fruit, bacon and juice! The breakfast exceeded my expectation. The room was beautiful with a spa bath in the room. You get to overlook the lake at every window in the 3rd floor room. There is a large room with a tv downstairs for a shared space if you want to spend time down there. A Keurig is offered for you to use during your stay with coffee and tea provided and a mini fridge for use as well for our room. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to others!”

“This is a very clean park. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The owner Rene and one of the park’s residents went way out of their way to help my husband get our Motorhome parked and our extra 16ft flat bed trailer unhooked and put in the storage over parking area. He even helped with leveling. The spot itself was shaded making it nice to set outside. Our rig is 40 ft so it took up a lot of space but Rene got us in here with no problem. The park is conveniently located to town. Took like 5 min to get to Walmart. We have a dog and the park has a big fenced area for dogs to run in. The park has a small playground for kids and a laundry room as well. The park is secure with gate and security cameras. The fiber optic internet is amazingly fast which is a huge bonus we were not expecting. We stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed our time there. Would definitely visit again.”
