“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had slide issues. The park worked with us until we could get a repair. The bathrooms were clean and close to the sites. Location is great for big rigs if you are planning on going into Yosemite. Like others have mentioned, the sites were not very level and not well groomed. Also, sure numbering was confusing for most of our neighbors when arriving. No host to help people find their site. It is very “rustic” compared to many parks.”

“My experience at Cottonwood was great! Jeremy and Renee were so sweet and very helpful if we had any questions. The park was very clean which is always a plus! I enjoyed the access to the wifi that Cottonwood provided. The overall atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful which made for a relaxing stay. Also, I liked the fact that the park was close to shopping, restaurants and the Oklahoma Interstate (I-44 and I-35). “Took my 13 year old son up here for the weekend. I’ve been wanting to check it out for some time, and the entire experience was even better than I expected. Lane runs a chill, mellow, festival - community vibe space. He was always just an email away, and spent plenty of time hanging around to make sure my kiddo and I were well taken care of. The longer river float was one of the most peaceful days spent on a river (okay - minus the appalachiarantulas lol) and the spot we camped, just on the other side of the river, was quiet and calm. Lane took plenty of time to make sure we had everything we needed, including safe places to camp and chill, dinner recommendations, and some great conversation. If you’re looking for a grassroots place to truly relax away from the hustle of state park camping, you’ve got to check this place out. We will definitely head back up to hopefully enjoy some midsummer tunes, maybe some yoga with a new yoga friend (Alicia everywhere we go, there we are!) and overall tap into the mellow nature that surrounds the land and the spirit of Jessup Mill. “Private little property so close to water! I stayed here last year and loved how it felt so much like home. Favorite part was the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with and I mean everything. Before my girlfriend and I checked in we stayed the first four nights at the resort right next to a rod and reel pier which was $500 a night and they had nothing not even a working stove And the owner was constantly on the premises and cameras everywhere. Once we found this little gem we were just so happy we stayed five nights and yes the owners are very pleasant and are never in your way. The price is right and you’re literally steps from the beach 🏖 I am looking forward to coming back again this May hopefully💕 Demi Mackey”

“This is a friendly down to earth real people campground. The folks are great and work so hard to make sure things go right. It has natural beauty to it and a small town nearby for groceries and gas. Gonna make this a regular place for us. They have the usual small store here for campers and refill propane. They have a cute mini-golf course and a nice pool. Don't expect fancy but expect relaxing and satisfaction.”

Great selection of all sorts of gear, Good food, great classes; But if i pay $3,500 a year to a company, i'd like them to at least tell me when i drop my rifle to get a scope leveled (already mounted) that it was going to take 3 WEEKS. I dropped it off, wasnt told anything, called a day later to check progress, and THEN they told me itd be 3 weeks. I said yea no, ill come get it now. When i picked up my rifle and brought this up i was told "oh you know; its at our discretion." As if that makes sense. Not a big deal, if the country werent in the middle of social unrest and I didnt pay them so much in membership costs.”

“First time in this location and I loved it. Quiet complex. King bed is sleep number👍🏻 Cross the street beach also not crowded. Feels like I’m far away from everything but in a same time I’m in town. It’s only 5 minutes from cvs and publix. Only 1 minus, water pressure is low and water in master bedroom sinks going away very slow. Other than that 👍🏻”

“Haven't been to the campground since March of 2021. Wow, has things changed. They have really cleaned the place up. Bathrooms are newly remodeled and very clean. They have RV tiny home park models that are cute as can be. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The manager greeted me as if she had known me for years. Gave me more information on the tiny homes they are selling and took me on a tour of the campground. My family and I really enjoyed coming here and highly recommend to anyone.”
