“Get the getaway feel without going to far out of the way (bout an hour from south hills). My family and I stayed in their deluxe cabin which was charmingly rustic and suited all our needs (nice shower). Neat little trail to a peaceful creek a stones throw away. Plenty of nature, nice sunsets above corn fields. Watch out for the volleyball sand pit, made a painful mistake of playing barefoot and blew my foot out on a rock.”

“I’ve been staying here with my sister for the last two years and I am impressed with staff and management. The manager, Rick, is helpful, informative and friendly. The park is kept clean and I love the peace and quiet at night. The neighbors are friendly and I feel safe here in this small community. My little Dachshund loves the dog park which is kept mowed and green. Finding good management and staff is unfortunately, rare. I am 77 and I lived in parks on and off over the years. Rick is one of the few managers I’ve met that is efficient, professional and kind.”

“The girls here are very hard-working! They gave me a four or five hour time window, but they had our boys done in less than three hours!! And they’re a lot of work because blowing out husky fur is time consuming. Our dogs actually liked them, as they are picky with humans. “Cozy and hidden area just off Loop820/Mansfield Hwy. Every mobile home looks like they'd been there a long time which is good. No community pool or kids playground was noticed. Only negative thing is that it takes awhile to get to it from the highway. To exit K-Mar, you have to follow the frontage road around about 1/4 mile to Seminary drive.”

“I was so appreciative of this place. The lady who was working in the front knew I was having an awful week, and she gave me a hug. She talked with me, and made me feel comfortable and safe, which is what I currently needed-The Southern hospitality I didn’t receive the past week in Convent. They have a beautiful pool area, a good size playground, and the RV space is a great amount, not to mention their general store is racked with so many spices that I’m really wanting to head back in there and grab some amazing items to try and do some grilling on their fire pits! If you’re looking for a great destination to enjoy the Deep South’s exotic and absolutely delicious food, you’re very close to the Chicken Bayou which has an amazing selection of Louisiana’s beautiful cuisine. Above all, this seems like a place that will be placed in my Google Save.”

“We bought a house with a pool in the area not long ago and needed to find a new pool company. I always read the reviews before i go anywhere, but I have to say the lady that helped me was very knowledgeable, helpful, nice, and polite. I took a sample of water in and she did a test on it and told me exactly what to do and to bring another sample back after doing everything and she would see where the pool is at as far as chemicals. 1 visit is all it took for me to know this is my permanent pool store. update: I took the sample back and she told me what I needed to do again and so I bought the stuff and it worked great. They are defiantly not telling me these things just to buy their products, because A. it is working B. it needed the things she recommended. The owners of the house we bought built a patio cover where all the debris run off he roof into the pool which caused the problem. We fixed the cover and fixed the pool problem. 100% would recommend Terrells.”

“I visited a friend. Of course the mobile homes are individually owned, and hers is nice and also big, but I can't speak for everyone. They do seem to keep it up well. The streets are very buckled and have huge puddles when it rains, but I think that is because it is built on a landfill. They say it is sinking a bit. All in all, the place is very quiet for such a large part. They have security at night. It's a shame that it was built on a landfill, because I think without that, it would be a really nice place to live.”

“I came down from Prescott to visit Tuscan and wanted a comfortable but not too expensive hotel to stay for the weekend. And this Comfort Inn did that perfectly! The staff are extremely sweet. And the hotel was kept very well maintained! My room was super clean and I enjoyed the quality of life features like a mini-fridge and microwave inside my room. “Lived here for over 3 years as a war era veteran in transition from homelessness - after a hit and run driver almost killed me over 5 years ago.... .... after I stopped in to tell them my story and inquire about prices, Gina made sure that I was on the reservation list for a cabin. (I had just gotten a job at Goodwill, but was living in my pickup truck). After a few months of living in my truck (in winter) & working at Goodwill, Gina called me with the news of an available cabin! I was sure I had been forgotten (like all the other times), BUT NO!! - Pueblo West Campground is run by people who really care about people.... Pueblo West Campground is currently under updates and improvements all across the property. I see major investments in all of the grounds & facilities - and it shows. Pueblo West Campground is a nice RV park that also has horse boarding, a bicycle & motocross track, a quiet & safe environment, with a strong "neighborhood watch" security, - and shopping just a walk away.... If you're passing through, check them out. No disappointments. Right on the foothills of the Rocky mountains. A 1/2 hour from the campground & full of the local history of the West, Canyon City's Great River Gorge is a place to explore, take stunning pictures, aircraft scenic tours, zip lining or skydiving at the Gorge! Colorado Springs & Pike's Peak are 1/2 hour away, but if you want to stay local, there is bicycle/hiking trail access from the RV park. Pueblo Lake State Park allows awesome days or weekends on the water, on the trails and bike paths, with camping available as well. While there, make sure to go to the Liberty Point Memorial for veterans that is located above the lake with stunning scenic vistas in every direction. A beautiful area summer or winter, good, trustworthy people, a VERY dedicated staff, and your choice of a slow, relaxing stay - or exciting extreme fun in the area's many venues...well worth your stay!”
