“Nice and quiet location on the Hope Hwy. Plumbed cabins available for rent and RV sites with full and partial hook ups. There is a small market and liquor store on site, which means there is a bit of come and go traffic during business hours. Located about 1/4 mile from "downtown," it is easily within walking distance though there are no sidewalks and the shoulder is narrow in some parts. The cabins were clean, in fact when a guest checked out, I could smell the Fabulouso just walking by outside.”

“My family came back with all smiles and great stories about Camp Tahquitz. They arrived home with their invitee paperwork and are excited for future days at Camp Tahquitz. Thank you for making the sign up/pre-work for camp seamless and the week at camp for the scouts exciting, challenging and fun. They were helpful and very friendly. I know it’s just a cheaper motel off of the freeway, and normally I wouldn’t review a hotel we picked only because it was affordable. The service was so extraordinary, I had to leave a review.”

“We stopped in for dumping only, the service was friendly and accommodating. The cost was a very reasonable $10. They even allowed us to fill our fresh tank with potable water, a big PLUS! Thank you Road Host! The place was not full, but it was a Tuesday afternoon... While you are parking on solid ground, we didn’t see any grass, the spaces are roomy and can accommodate a 45’ RV pulling a trailer, just fine. Why only 4 stars? “I ended up here at this shelter when I lost my husband due to a death in 2006 , and a death of a father in 2008. Moved to Butler county, Ohio to be closer to church family and ended up here. I was "still serving the lord" and was in shock. Ms. Ceal Snow and Tammy Burger are simply amazing and don't reqret one day of being here and being a resident. I did was I suppose to do and then ended up with the lawnmower to cut the grass and pull weeds. I was almost the only one without children so I ended up helping the other moms. To this day I would just love to be a "mom" and I am not but someday when I own my own home , God will give me that opportunity to be a Mom with babies. I would welcome the opportunity to be a mom with adopted babies . I even went to school at "Omni" on central avenue for customer service and business professional and completed the course. Thank you to Center of Hope for doing everything for me of what you did. Just because you live in a shelter does not mean you are a bad person , it just means your in a part of your life that needs regrouping to be a "Successful Star"!!!!”

“Second time I’ve been here. The first time was back in June 2018. I saw a “Stargazing” sign on the way down to a hike and was curious. I really didn’t know what to expect, maybe some constellation searching or something. But it was way more than that. Mike, the owner, is very prestigious astronomer with about 30 years of experience, working with companies like Meade and being consulted by many other organizations. He built a small house with a rolling roof and has very large and expensive telescopes that he uses to show what the night sky hides in the distance. The things you could see with this equipment is mind blowing. It was so good I decided I wanted to go again with my girlfriend and so we set out and we’re once again amazed by everything in store. Truly a great experience and the best thing is that every month the night sky changes so you are bound to see something new every time. Highly recommend !”

“Every one seems to mind there business and watch out for the fellow man. Not much room past parking the RV to park other vehicles or any other trailer. Unless a lot beside you is open but the possibility of being told you are going to have to do something different or pay rent on the other lot might be tossed out there. But has not been enforced yet. So large motorhomes pulling your vehicle on a trailer may have to work something out if planning to stay a little while.”

“Dream Away Cabin is a slice of heaven on Earth! The cabin itself is beautifully decorated. The moment you come in, it gives you that feeling of comfort where you’d say “I need to be here for awhile.” It is like that respite you have been needing is finally here! The bedsheets are so soft and comfy like a 5-star hotel beddings. You don’t want to get out of bed, but you also don’t want to miss out on the outside fun. My family and I enjoyed feeding the mob of deer daily and gazing at the stars at night. The fire pit and the hammock outside are a perfect addition too. We loved the patio area as well where we dined with family. We left with so many wonderful memories at the cabin. An added bonus, it is a walking distance from the lake. “River Park House is such a peaceful retreat. I love staying here when I come to visit family. It’s walkable to restaurants and right on Spring Park where you can swim in a pool fed by the spring water. The park has two playgrounds and a pier. Leyda is the best host and makes you feel like family. The rooms are very well done, and there’s a with a nice mix of vintage pieces with a touch of modern. The breakfast is awesome and there are always snacks out for you to take as you head out the door or back to your room. 5/5 for this hidden gem in Green Cove Springs.”
