“The room was good size and clean. Convenient to restaurants and the historic square. A little noisy from cars on highway but not a major distraction. Front desk was nice and helpful. Bed not the most comforable but sleepable. The shower was clean and had good water pressure. Was hoping for a better view of lake. Overall a nice, comfortable overnight.”

Having had several other less than ideal experiences at similar resorts, it was a nice change to experience such great service. Literally every staff member we dealt with from the front door to the pool staff to the spa staff etc were wonderful. Kids really enjoyed the pool area. Lots of activities for the kids during this holiday weekend. Can not speak high enough about the wonderful customer service we received. We will be back!”

“We have been looking for a place to relax, let go, and get some peace of mind away from the grind of working. Mark, who runs the place, is there for his campers needs without being a bother. The cabins are indeed rustic, but remember...this is country, not a five star motel! For the first time in my life, I watched a beautiful Orb Spider spin a web. Never done that before; Nice. The place is clean, the bathroom and campgrounds are very clean and despite previous reviews I read...the air conditioner works great. We will return to the oasis 13 miles from our home again. And the lake is steadily rising so enjoy some fishing too. Thank you Mark for a great Labor Day weekend.”

“The Bartlett is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Walnut Grove, California on the Delta run by Rebecca. It is perfectly decorated, super comfortable, has convenient keyless access, and is close to a ton of things to do and places to eat nearby. I highly recommend staying at The Bartlett if you are looking to vacation on the river, but aren't interested in camping.”

“I just spent a weekend with my friends, as we do annually, in Scottsdale at one of your properties. I must say it was Fabulous. From the agents that met us at the house to walk us through and go over how everything worked, to increasing their cable subscription last minute so we could watch all the sports networks. Holiday Rentals is all about taking care of its customers. The grounds and home were spotless and very inviting. We won’t look anywhere else going forward. “We've had a great time so far! Plenty of room for my mom, grandmother and me. We're also able to have our 2 small, well behaved dogs with us. Grateful for that because never want to leave them home. The beds are very comfortable and one of the showers has multiple shower heads in it, pretty big. I found it strange that the master suite did not have a bathroom attached. The kitchen is small but there is a full size refrigerator, dishes and utensils, a hotplate and there are 2 mini fridges. We especially enjoyed the patio and all the comfy chairs. PERFECT to watch the sunset. It was great to have a beachfront, private view.”

“While Grand Rapids, OH may not be high on a lot of people’s list of vacation getaways, The Mill House Bed and Breakfast is a gem that should not be passed up, and deserves at least a one-night stay by anyone passing through that little town. The proprietors are warm and welcoming and informative about their establishment and the surrounding sites, attractions, and restaurants. The accommodations are rustic (it’s a converted grist mill) but comfortable (even in hottest July) and charming. As we settled in, we were treated to delicious, complimentary scones as well as coffee and some convenient snacks. In our experience, the other guests were representative of the type of customer described in Mill House mission statement, which made for a quiet and friendly stay. Breakfast conversation with the other guests was very enjoyable. We plan to return for a longer stay sometime in the coming year.”

“Nice spot for a quiet weekend. My one complaint is that there was residue from what I assume was a bug sprayer truck that came through overnight - but it’s surrounded by woods and I like the shade trees so I’ll take the spray so we don’t have mosquito swarms- just plan to stop and wash off the rig on the way home. Staff was nice and facilities seem to be well kept although definitely a newer set of amenities. Would have loved some shade over the mini golf and some additional seating/shade around pools. Hopefully in the future they have plans for a larger pool or splash pad as we went on a weekend that wasn’t super busy - lots of spots open but not a lot of room left at pools before they got crowded feeling. We have plans to return- overall for the price and convenient location to us it’s a nice little get away with minimum fuel expense.”

“Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Everybody here is so amazing. This was our first time boarding the pups here and we will definitely be back. We have 4 very large playful dogs (one of them being very timid) so the fact they were able to handle them took a huge weight off of my shoulders while we were gone. My dogs came back so happy and sleepy from all the playtime. The owners are so lovely and Lisa put up with all of my crazy dog mom texts and check ins. Cannot thank y’all enough for taking care of my babies!”

I0 miles south is Carrollton with a Walmart, Kroger grocery store and several restaurants. Also, can't say enough nice things about Judy and her husband. “Perfect for a night of rest and relaxation! Can't beat the location for proximity to the interstate, yet tucked away in a green spot with the chirping of birds to wake up to. We scored one of their many flat pull-through sites and hooked up to the electric, etc. All for $23.54 including tax. We called ahead a few hours before and the manager (owner?) met us at the gate to guide us to our spot with her riding lawn mower. Very nice, we'll mark it down for the next time we travel south!”
