“My husband and I stayed here when we went to Scarborough Faire earlier this year. It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful house. It was almost as fun as the faire and everything about it was basically perfect. The gentleman that runs the Inn was polite, kind, and knowledgeable. If I could rate it 10 stars I would for the decor alone. The only quibble I have (which does not detract from my rating) is that a train woke us up earlier than we'd like since it's right by the train tracks. Absolutely amazing.”

“Could not ask for better customer service! Bought new A/C unit after purchasing a dud from a different (Explore USA Rockport) place. These guys said to drop off the unit with them & they would test it for us (what? The other place said they needed our whole rv with a/c connected to be able to test it & blah, blah, blah to think about getting us our money back) (see my Explore USA Rockport review for more info) Amazingly enough we (customer Jason Wyeth) were issued a refund not even 24 hrs later for the faulty unit we didn't even purchase there. “The motel was in a good location. Restaurants, gas stations and a hospital were close. The staff did everything they could to make your stay comfortable. They did little things like a night light in the bathroom and using the conference room as an over flow area for the dining area. There was not a lot of noise to keep you awake during the night. The only negative was the young lady at the desk in the evenings who was more interested in her cell phone than greeting guests. She rarely smiled or spoke.”

“I reserved 6 rooms for family members coming for an event. They were all very happy with their rooms and especially with Bart the manager. Very easy to work with and eager to please. Everybody commented on excellent cleanliness. Each room also has a small microwave and fridge. This is not a chain hotel with free breakfast, etc. but it is the best in Apple Valley. 20 minutes closer than the hotels by the freeway.”

“This place is so beautiful I don’t even know where to start. The views are amazing, the arcade is so awesome and the beds super comfy. The house is huge and fit my large family and friends nicely and we all had our space so we didn’t feel on top of each other. Kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with tools to cook with as well as dishes so no need to be remembering paper plates and utensils. The deck was so nice and and big and peaceful and the kids wanted to spend all day playing outdoors while I could just sit there and watch them without chasing them all over. Lots of activities provided like frisbee golf, corn hole, a big connect 4 and some other stuff I can’t remember. There’s a jacuzzi tub that lights up at night, which was super fun and nice especially if you spend a day of hiking up the trails. Cutest set up and the hosts were so nice and helpful. The home was extremely clean and inviting. I would recommend staying here if you’re in town and have a big family or a couple families staying together. Especially great if you appreciate nature. We used it as a staycation and it felt like a nice vacation away from home even when we live only a few miles. Definitely give this mountain retreat a go if you are on the fence. These hosts also have a ranch home pretty close by that’s beautiful as well. Haven’t stayed there yet but you can tell they put a lot of work into making sure there’s something for everyone!”

“Came here from over 20 hours away and tried multiple campgrounds most didn’t answer or were 55+ resorts. Desert Oasis was recommended by a coworker so I drove out there. The parks staff did very prompt work of moving a few rigs around to make mine fit….the staff here is too notch and instantly made me feel at home. Dave and Brandy are model examples of what campgrounds need…many thanks you two we are very grateful”

“I have to say Graestone Manor is a magical place-I took my family to Graestone for an overnight stay and everyone said they want to come back !!!-If your into the Paranormal you wont be disappointed!! Heather is a remarkable Medium and was spot on in her readings to us, and the home whispers to you of its time period-If your not into the paranormal then you will enjoy the Beautiful rooms that are restored impeccably to its time period and decorations abound .. The Manor is nestled in a country setting where you can enjoy the outdoors and is close to Many fine dining Restaurants and quaint small towns that are a short drive from the Manor- ( or you can keep it simple and have a pizza delivered like we did !!). There is a pool table in the downstairs where you can relax and play a few games while listening to music . - Breakfast was fun with an array of different foods from savory to sweet, and of course coffee and teas. Thank you, Heather for being a great host-We hope to come back soon!!”

“Always such an amazing time whenever we pull down to Buckwood! Have been tent camping here for 2 years and this is our first season with our camper. 37’er and every spot we’ve been to has been INCREDIBLY easy. If you aren’t comfortable or need help Ben literally asks every single trailer if they want help parking it whether directing or parking it for you. So incredibly sincere and sweet. It’s always a sad day Sunday morning as we pack up camp and leave this home away from home. Thank you to every single person working to make every weekend special to those who come. “I have owned time shares at the Readington ambassador for almost 40 years and absolutely love the area. There's so many things to do and see but most of all the best thing is to just enjoy the beach and the quietness of the area. Definitely not commercial like St Pete Beach or Clearwater. “We had a great time at DVRVP. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We saw the owners & their team working hard to keep everything picked up over the holiday weekend. The kids loved the biking area and pool. The dog park area was clean and had fresh tennis balls. I really enjoyed walking down to the river with my morning coffee. It is very easy to see how much the owners care about their property. The easy access to the state park and Dinosaur World was just a bonus. We’ll definitely return.”
