“This place is phenomenal for a camp ground! Got everything from RV/camper sites to primitive camping spots. They also have nice little primitive style cabins. No showers, sinks, or bathroom in the cabins but the bathroom/shower house is just a short walk across the parking lot. If you decide to stay here make sure you check out the zip lines. It is lots of fun and the zip guides are great people! The fishing is great even managed to catch some big ones. It’s nice that they also rent out John boats to paddle around in! After a long hot day the swimming pond is amazing to float around in. All in all it’s a great facility with some amazing staff members! Can’t wait to visit you all again!”

“When it comes to Mobile Home Parks, Derby Run is the several grades above the rest. Unlike some parks the speed reducers are fair and not the size of curbs. And the management are delightful. Many wonderful neighbors. Great for kids. Near not one but two 7-11s.”

“Our room was extremely clean. The bed was o.k., but rather soft. The sheets would not stay tucked in, so that was annoying. There was no bathtub, just a shower, but not a big deal. The air conditioning temperature was comfortable, but "moist" air, so it felt "wet/humid" all night. The breakfast was good. (Waffles, toast, muffins, cold cereal, instant hot cereal, drinks, etc.) If you need eggs & bacon, you will need to go to a restaurant. But, after all, it was free. So, for the price, it was not a bad place to stay.”

The campsite is super secure and even has Sheriff Department presence on site over the weekends and holidays. “Friend invited us to "The Glen" on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Spacious units; one on ground level and one on second floor.. Both have kitchen appliances, bathroom and small outdoor patio. Photos are from the second floor unit only where we stayed. Special feature was the second floor unit; has a larger living-dining area, and a spiral staircase leading to another level above with a hot tub. Romantic with dim lighting...would have loved to try it! We arrived during the day. If night, the sign is set slightly away from the street making it easy to miss along the road. Small number of units for this complex making it quiet and quaint. A short drive, about 10 minutes, to access Lake Tahoe.”
