“Golden Sands is just a LOVELY location on the lake. The sand beach allows you to just walk into the water (or run). The swimming is delightful and the feeling of the property is warm and cozy. I felt welcome and at home, and there was pleasant conversation among the other guests. It's the same way every time I stay. The morning Kayaking was really beautiful (they are free to use) and the sunrises and quiet on the water were exquisite. The cabins (rooms) have a rustic Adirondack decor which adds to the charm of the entire property, the lake, and the area! Liz and her staff are delightful and were so accommodating. I highly recommend staying!”

“I didn't stay the night or play golf this visit. I just had dinner one night with family. Dinner was good, I had the wings this time. I can say I have had more flavorful wings from other western New York places. My cousin burger came out rare, they cooked another one for him. Everyone else said their food was good. The waitress was great except the last 30 minutes she disappeared and my uncle had to get up and go pay inside.”

“We visited Sundial Campground in April of 2018 and ended up living there for 4 years. Tim is the best manager ever. Very friendly and always willing to help. When we had a problem with out RV's electrical system, he helped us figure it out and got the power back on. The setting is quiet, right next to the cow pasture and no it doesn't smell. The people are friendly and Tim is on top of everything. I feel very safe here. Hated to leave, but we had to move out of state to be closer to family.”

“We were on the 6th floor and the room was very nice and very clean. The rate of $130ish was better than other hotels. The attendants at the front desk were awesome. The guest laundry was very clean and so convenient to have on every floor. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful sunset from room window after a huge storm earlier.”

“We arrived here a couple weeks ago, relocating from out of state. The park is relatively new (Jan 2023) and "no frills" (no amenities like laundry, restrooms/showers,etc), which is fine for our needs at the moment. It is located in a very rural area. Water & electric are included in the cost, and the cost is affordable. Dogs welcome. The park management is onsite, and they are responsive. There are a few rigs that appear to be here for the long term, but since we've been here, there have been quite a few who come for a day or a few and then travel on. On the western boundary, the park abuts a fenced field where cows roam throughout the day. The eastern boundary is an empty field. At this time of year, fireflies come out in the evening, which was neat to see. The closest stores are about 9 miles away (15 minute drive along country roads) in Anna, where you can find a Walmart, restaurants, gas, etc. I haven't been to a laundromat yet, but the closest appears to be in McKinney, also a 15-20 minute drive.”

“Absolutely loved our little cottage! We were able to check in early, everything was clean, and the front desk was very accommodating. Just be aware that the bathroom access is through the bedroom (in case there are more than two people staying in the room). The beach access is very close. And there is also a pool. I liked that they had a parking lot and you didn't have to park right on the main road. I noticed several places had parking on the main road which is very busy.”

“Wonderful place for a little getaway. Perfect for views and enjoying nature - got to hear a choir of coyotes in the night. Saw the stars under the dome of the Yoga Yurta. Made food in the cute outdoor kitchen - very functional! Only downside was the shower had a big gap with no cover, so we didn't feel comfortable using it. However, everything else was amazing. Giant swing made me feel like a kid again.”

We used the pool outside, it was very clean, and the small relaxation area near the pool looked very well maintained. Breakfast was not very varied, but you will not stay hungry. “I booked a stay at the Yoedler Trio for a large group and couldn't have had a better experience. The chalet is gorgeous and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out, cook, and sleep. The layout is great with beds, kitchens, and a living space on each floor. I loved the outdoor space too, especially the fire pit with bench seating. The owners are also exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Although this was my first time booking, it was my 3rd time staying at Stone Mountain Chalet. Already looking forward to the next visit!”
