Despite a "little" light pollution from Mesa-Phoenix and Globe, the sky is clear and I got a few shots. Highly recommended for fellow astrophotographers.”

“This is the second time we stayed at Basin RV Resort. The spaces are spacious, clean, concrete and the hookups are convenient. This Resort is located close to downtown, restaurants, and a quick walk to the Colorado River. Easy in, easy out. Yes the highway is near, but the sound did not bother us, especially when the air conditioner is on, so it wasn't a problem for us. We will definitely stay there again!”

“We stumbled across Kahtnu when Googling places to stay in Alaska, and it was the best decision we made during our 2 week trip! The cabin is perfect for couples: amazing views of the river, a quiet front porch to watch eagles soaring through the canyon, and tasteful touches from hosts Lorraine and Mike (breakfast parfaits, fresh ground coffee, and hard boiled eggs waiting in the fridge to name a few!). The friendly huskies were an added touch for dog lovers like us. Highly recommend!”

“This is not a 5 start hotel... So you can't be a snowflake and stay here! This is a good, upstanding hotel. The owners/front desk are awesome people and will reasonably commidate you. They are friendly and always in good spirits. The beds are comfortable, the AC works like a champ, and aside from the interstate, it's a quiet place. The TV system/channels could use improvement, but the point is to rest/sleep.... Right? The place is clean... I've been in 3 different rooms....ALL were awesome. I recommend this place especially to truckers! Thank you America's Best for a quality stay!”

“Great campground! One of the cleanest campgrounds we’ve been to. The bathhouses are individual rooms with nice cedar walls and extremely clean. The concrete pad sites are large and the utility pedestal is top notch. 1 min walk to the inlet with a niece beach. Plenty of room to get setup and nice grass lots attached. This is our new go to site! The swimming pool is walking distance and it’s 10 bucks per day. APG/MWR facilities knows how to run a campground!”

“Very private, my family stayed for 4 nights. The fold out sofa bed mattress is not very comfortable (you can feel the springs) otherwise it served our purpose perfectly. Easy access to Turtle Beach (which was a better time than siesta beach) used the dock when we rented a boat. They also had some beach gear (we bought more and left it behind for the next guest)”

“I went with my sisters to have a girls weekend. We had a fantastic time. Mary is a wonderful host. She was not able to be there for part of our stay and so we also met her sister Kay, who was great. The house is comfortable, The breakfast was good. The setting of the house is beautiful. The price was very reasonable. I left my jewelry there by accident and they let me know and mailed it back to me. From the big things and small things it was a great experience!”

“We spent the holiday weekend here at Log Cabins and it was a great experience! Our cabin was clean and well appointed. It was surprisingly quiet given how close we were to the water and the public boat ramp. The resort grounds were clean and quaint with plenty of bbq areas for us to relax outdoors with family and friends. The management staff responded quickly to any of our needs with a friendly smile! “On our recent trip to California to attend a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, we were searching for budget-friendly accommodations with parking. We discovered the BLVD Hotel & Spa and decided to book a room for one night. Upon arrival, we parked our car in their lot and proceeded to check in to our room. Our hotel room was located on the second floor. One of the things I appreciated about the hotel was the motivational quotes displayed on the walls. The room itself was tidy, peaceful, and equipped with all the essentials one might need for a comfortable stay. The hotel pool and gym have limited hours, but the gym has all the necessary equipment for a workout. If you're in need of a quick breakfast, the lobby offers coffee, tea, and packaged breakfast options at reasonable prices. One of the best things about this hotel is its prime location, just a short walk from Universal Studios. Additionally, the shower head provides multiple options and allows guests to adjust water pressure to their preference. Furthermore, the cost for overnight parking at the hotel is only $30, which is significantly cheaper than nearby parking options and garages. Overall, the hotel was a great fit for our needs.”

“We've owned in this resort since Mothers' Day 1985 and bought directly from the developer. It is impossible to locate a resort with this many amenities and this location unless you are willing to travel and pay a great deal more. The owners have kept annual fees low, although the exterior was completely rehabbed a few years ago with extra funds paid by owners for the enjoyment of all, and interiors must be updated due to use and abuse. Having owned a single family oceanfront home, I can attest to the expense involved with the pleasure of owning on the ocean. Insurance was only available through Lloyd's of London for mine. Taxes are also the responsibility of the owners. Thank you to the managers who work to maintain an older property. Our family was happy to not pay the equivalent of a year in college to vacation here!”

“This is our new favorite place! We had to come back to back from Father's Day to a following Birthday, as there was no comparison! Their steaks are absolutely cooked to perfection. Everything is fresh and so good! Their Mud Pie is out of this world! They have a good cocktail menu. The tables on the patio are right above the water with cute string lights. Stay after and explore the river, bridge and trails! The service and family friendliness is superb! Everyone works together to make sure you're having the best service. It's also dog friendly on the patio. We have yet to stay in the lodge, but hopefully soon!”

“Incredible experience. The host was phenomenal, friendly, attentive to our needs. Rhonda is very proud of her community and her home and it shows. Breakfast the next morning was filling but very healthy. Rhonda goes out of her way to provide a clean and unique environment. We stayed in the Beach Room. Well decorated and very cozy. Really enjoyed the meditative "clippity-clop" of the Amish people riding through.”

“This family owned and operated business is a wonderful place to stay for either a short trip or an extended stay. The owners/operators are on site and so very very nice and accommodating. The rooms are VERY clean and if there’s any issue it will be taken care of immediately. The wifi is always strong (I know these days that’s important lol) and the location is close to so many tourist attractions or local favorites. We felt 100% safe at all times and never had a problem with loud or disrespectful neighbors. It’s definitely a nice, affordable choice and we highly recommend the Merrimac Inn!!!”
