“Its an old cemetery that appears to have been abandoned years ago. Some say the road leading to the cemetery is haunted. Some say it's the most peaceful place you will ever visit. ”

“The Marine Corps museum is above and beyond my expectations. Need a couple of days to really appreciate all of the artifacts and displays. Definitely take the guided tour. The docents are very knowledgeable and help you to understand the museum better than doing it on your own. Also very thoughtful children's sections.”

“This was a great exhibit. It was perfect timing for my Art Appreciation Class@ NLU Chicago Campus. The guest services staff was awesome. I always wanted to go because it's close to where I live and work. I'm glad I didn't have to go downtown with the hustle and bustle of traffic and parking. I will make sure to see some more of their exhibits.”

“My family and I decided to take a road-trip to NJ this past weekend. One of the stops I found along the way was the Morris Canal and museum. Upon glancing online at the history I thought this would be a great stop and interesting to visit. We weren't disappointed. Jim Sr. gave us a tour and took time sharing information with us, asking us questions and answered any questions we came up with along the way. My son is 8 and my daughter is 11 and both also enjoyed this. While I do think some smaller kids may lose interest (Even as an adult it's sometimes hard to imagine the past)Jim was great with getting my son involved and asking him questions. At the end my son even gave him a big hug. It's a great stop for anyone into the history of the canal, wanting to know about mechanics of the turbines or about the incline planes. Great stop for local families or anyone passing through and curious. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. Thanks Jim for helping us learn more about the past! :)”

“Great wetland where you can bird and butterfly watch. You can also follow the trail across East Boot Road to the southern end of Applebrook Park and then on to East Goshen Park. Free parking is available. At the edge of this park near the corner of East Boot Road and North Chester Road you will find the Plank House and Blacksmith Shop.”

“An amazing spot to soak in the gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean! There is a lot of seating around the park, clean restrooms, and plenty of parking. What more could you ask for? Unfortunately the actual museum was closed when we went for the holiday, but I’m sure it’s informative and exciting as well. Loved visiting this place!!”

“I went today. They have layouts in every major scale, one on the top floor and several on the lower floor. I personally liked the HO layout on the upper floor better, but I prefer HO anyway, so there may be bias there. They also have a gift shop/flea market where you can buy new or used locomotives, track, and other equipment. I got a DCC locomotive for cheaper than I could on eBay. The members of the club are happy to answer any questions you may have, and were willing to test the products before I purchased it. The person even reprogrammed the locomotive before I bought it. Admission is inexpensive with adults costing $5 and children (15 and under) costing $1 each.”

“What a lovely day. . Stopped in for their Pottery Day and what a surprise. Atop of Corning Hill in Zionsville sits tucked in the woods is Stahl's Pottery. Rich in history and beautiful art pieces, this one of a kind experience is for all types. The beehive kiln is huge! A must stop if you're looking for "just that piece." A lovely stop with lovely proprietors.”

“When in Old New Castle good place to stop and see! Part of the towns history.”

“This place is as historic as can be to me. Growing up in New Castle left an impression on me ever since I was 5 years old and took a field trip from Carrie Downie school to Battery park. Later, in Middle School, we took another field trip to Battery Part and what is now known as First State National Park - or the town square. We even went inside the Post Office. Then, much later, I stood near the the William Penn statue and kissed a new girlfriend, for quite a while. This place has it all - Nora Lee's, Jessop's Tavern - why would I ever want to live anywhere else? ✌️”
