“This is a really awesome place to visit in St Pete if you want a little nature, a little local history and a lot of walking and looking at the sights. Plenty of places to park, completely free. The small history museum has cool exhibits and an 1100 year old canoe. Plenty of places to see the water!”

“This is a short tour of a historic submarine. Prices were fair for military members. During your tour you have a headset that describes different parts of the submarine to you. It even has recordings of Veterans sharing their personal experiences. It was definitley worth the trip. I will say it's not handicap friendly as you climb up/down things and through small holes. You can't bring bags or purses, anything bigger than a small clutch / large wallet is a no go.”

“The place is nice and very clean. With the virus going on some folks kept their distance. The water didn't go high enough for the mustangs to give that iconic look and feel of the Mustangs crossing the water, however were a great start. A calming effect of the water gave the impression of it Babbling Brook so to speak. A person could stay here for hours the lose track of time sipping on tea and listening to relaxing jazz music.”

“This art museum is absolutely worth it for the price - and you might even learn something! It’s a small museum, I spent maybe 45 minutes there. I loved their exhibit covering the Great Basin, especially the photographs. They have a large collection of Native American arts - all donated from a couple that collected it. They do not allow backpacks, but they do have free lockers (maybe 12?) for you to use. If it’s busy, you may need to plan ahead. You have to reserve your tickets (online) at least two hours in advance due to covid. When I checked in, they had a sign that kept track of how many people were in the building. There were only a handful of other people while I was there. They do have a hands-on kids art area, but it is currently empty due to covid.”

“My experiences at the Nature Center have been very positive. The rangers who staff it are very kind and welcoming. The nature center is very nice with a men's and women's bathrooms each with a few stalls. There is also a aviary that is currently being renovated and several tables and benches outside. Inside there is air conditioning and also a 3D map of the park. There are a large number of animals inside, although it fluctuates.”
