“I had a leaking hose faucet, and they discovered it was my water pressure being too high! They fixed my pressure as well as the damage done to the hose faucet by my bad pressure. He also reminded me of the age of my water heater so I can get ahead of it failing. I will definitely be calling them soon to get that replaced. Everything they’ve done for me has never had issues again and it always looks so much cleaner than the previous plumbing because he makes everything geometrically and visually appealing. “I am in the process of preparing my home to be on the market. I reached to SALT through their website. Someone contacted me within 24 hours! The young lady I spoke to was very responsive and friendly. She listened to all my needs and concerns. I called on a Saturday and SALT could schedule the techs on Monday. I was impressed they could come out that soon. Monday arrived quickly. Brett and Jorge were the two techs sent to my home. They called me 15-20 minutes before arriving. They wore shoe coverings to protect the carpet. Brett informed me he listened to my phone call and read the notes the young lady provided him. I had to explain very little to him what I needed done. Their plan of action was incredible! They started from the outside, working their way inside the home. I had some light switches changed out, kitchen light installed, and my outside electric sockets fixed. They performed this job in under 3 hours. Brett also took the extra step to review the safety of my electric items in prep to sell my home. Now I'm aware of what needs to be fixed and the cost. I also like that they provided me several different quotes and not just one. That is very important to me as I can make the decision on what to tackle first. They also offer finance options which is always a bonus in my eyes. I can't believe I almost forgot to mention their work is covered under a 2 year warranty at no extra cost. I would use this company again in a heartbeat. For me it is not just about affordable prices but techs who care about the job they are performing as well as ensuring the customer is happy. I was truly blown away by the service I received. Many companies should be striving to be like SALT!”

“Called for service as I suspected a propane gas leak in my basement.. John, one of the partners, came down within an hour or so with his crew and quickly diagnosed the problem that was not in the house but a leak in the outdoor ground pipes. They assured me they would correct and complete the project and I would be safe even if they had to stay all night. They stayed until they could assure me I was ok and would come back the next morning to make sure everything was perfect. The next day a new crew came and was totally aware of what transpired the night before and what they had to do to complete the job. The best way to judge a company is when you have an emergency and really need them. I have the highest regard for the competency of this company and especially the two crews that came to our rescue. Each and everyone did there job and all were congenial and polite. I have not received my bill yet and hoping I will not faint or go into heart failure as I felt when I discovered this problem,. They had to break some underground sprinklers but hopefully they will repair them for us in the spring. I recommend this company for a small job or something very serious such as what I had. I will surely use them again unless I've fainted! Good luck.”

“Long, TL;DR at end. So this job was about 5 months ago. I'm a pretty capable handyman, enough so that it's rare for me hire out for personal residential work. That being said, I know when something is beyond my experience/ability and needs a professional. Needed a 40 year old gate valve replaced, it was the house main valve and way too close to the wall for my amateur soldering skills. J&H came in with a very fair price to replace with a ball valve, especially when compared to a couple of price-gouging "big name" companies that you see on TV and hear squawking on the radio. Tech comes out, does the work as quoted based on MY description, even though he had to go to the supply store for a fitting (no extra labor charge). Pay the man, we part ways. Nice guy, made sure to tip a little. After curing 24 hours, cue a pinhole leak in a fitting for the irrigation branch line. It can happen to anyone, if I'd have done it half of them woulda leaked and with triple the time involved. No big. Call 'em, they schedule for NEXT day to fix. Tech comes out, takes a long look at it, and I guess calls the Boss. Boss isn't a manager or a supervisor, he's the OWNER! Owner calls me (I'm not home, didn't need to be, valve is outside) and explains that the house has actually been plumbed wrong since originally built in 1978! He talks me through it. Makes sense. Okay, cue the price gouge, right? WRONG! He wants to fix it up to CURRENT code and ASKS me to pay just for the Backflow preventer (apparently at his price, part was 15% more anywhere I looked online) and he covers the labor and all other materials to replumb the whole setup. He was ready to eat the entire project cost to get it right! What?! I know what a skilled tradesman costs a company to employ, they definitely didn't make any money here. Job kinda blew up in their face but they didn't hesitate to absolutely go nuclear on making it right. I'm not wasting time calling anyone else for the next job, they've earned my trust. TL;DR - This company is timely, communicative, has fair prices, and an almost fanatical commitment to doing the job right.”
