“Heard about this place so I went and tried it out...Brisket was good and moist...Ribs were tasty and also good....Sausage was also good...liked their spicy sauce...Didn't try their sides I just tried some of their meats,but they seem to have a good choice of them... I'll have to go back and try the other meats they have to offer..Nice place UPDATE....Went there today 08/04/2023 for dinner...so we tried their plates...Brisket and Ribs along with their Chicken and Sausage plus their sides . All was good and tasty..got to talk to the PitMaster and he showed me around back where the big Smokers are.This place has a good atmosphere and the staff were real nice and friendly. I really enjoyed myself. The DJ arrives around 10, I stayed until about 11:30, wish i could have stayed longer (contact lense malfunction) I ordered 12 wings & curley that were reasonably priced, had a frozen mango margarita added an extra shot of tequila. Everything was perfect. Saw others ordering lots great looking food. Chicken Tacos look very popular. Can't wait to return and try some other menu items and drinks”

“Update, back again Dec 5th, Oysters are Great, and will be for the next few months, go get u-Sum. This was my second trip in two weeks on Tuesdays. It's half priced Oysters. Their good size for tourists and locals alike. Their called St Bernard, Dunno. They are salty and in two/three weeks should be healthy/fat. They are served clean and no shells, Great job. It is Hot, Flavorful, and Ready to Eat. The Barbacoa is the Best Barbacoa anywhere. I recommend getting there early as they run out and the last few orders of the day usually have more fat. I have been coming to this location for the past 3 years. I wish they had a location in New Braunfels. The 30 Minute Drive to Schertz is definitely worth this Incredible Barbacoa. Price is worth it and very budget friendly. I highly recommend this Barbacoa.”

The location is excellent, very easy to get to, and located within several walkable blocks of shops and businesses, across the street from the train station. The interior is pretty typical of a fast-food style restaurant: mostly fixed booths with some accessible tables & chairs. Loving a steak & cheese sandwich, I ordered the mushroom steak & cheese. I got it to go and made the 5 minute drive home. It was just warm when I got there so I had to pop it into the nuke-o-matic for about 40 seconds to get it to a decent temp. Leave it in the paper & the bread won't dry out. The amount of cheese I found quite light. Wasn't expecting tomato in there either but it worked. I'll be going back to try some other choices and will adjust if needed.”
