“Definitely a ghost kitchen but we love it in the office! Best sandwiches I’ve had with fresh ingredients. There was a time where it wasn’t available and our Uber order got cancelled but like I said, it’s a ghost kitchen so likely didn’t have ingredients. I didn’t fault them for that and just ordered somewhere else lol I like this place enough to order again even after that mishap. Tastes like someone’s mom made it for us. Soup is good too”

“Juan Pollo is always a good choice for dinner. They have fresh food. I love that their chicken is moist and tender. They have the best potato salad, and their beans are good. I ordered the mini pack, which comes with three sides. We always get two sides of potato salad and beans. The meal feeds four people. Pair it up with a salad, corn, flour tortillas, and their hot salsa, and dinner is served! The service is friendly and fast. Best to use cash, or they charge a service fee if you’re using a debit card. The restaurant is clean, and dine-in is available. We always get take-out.”

“We met up with friends for lunch and drinks at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, La Piñata in Fremont. Started with chips, salsa and a pitcher of margaritas for about the first 15 minutes while we chatted and got caught up with recent events. Lunch entrees were enchiladas, a super burrito and a super famoso burrito, which was a “wet” super burrito. They were good but the entree that everyone loved was the Caldo 7 Mares. This was a true seafood soup with half a crab, mussels, scallops, octopus/calamari fish and vegetables. The soup base was full of flavor with just enough of a little spice to it.”

Buratta dish was execellent to me, but my husband wanted cheese to be more milky and squishy inside. (The way it wasn’t made me love it! Ha) EDIT: we went back again and ordered again and it was 1 milky cheesy goodness (rather than 4 individual balls like the first one) … honestly, both ways were excellent. Steak was cooked medium rare to perfection. Seasoned beautifully. Would definitely recommend.”

One of the biggest selections of drinks in the county. Propane, firewood, charcoal, and other necessities are available for your camping needs. Fishing bait, bobbers, and other asscessories for fishing. The Hunt's Pizza shop here makes ready to go slices available at the register and they also take orders and make excellent pizza. There are benches outside that are perfect to stop and enjoy a coke and hot slice of pizza, let your bikes cool, dry off from the local Dan River, or just to sit back and watch the back country scene. And don't let the look of the locals fool you, they are friendly and will help you with directions or even a flat tire!”

“This was our 2nd time here and it was amazing. The food was phenomenal. Literally everything we tasted was seasoned perfectly and my filet was the best I've had in a very very long time. The service was fantastic all around. Bartender was entertaining and made a great old fashioned. Our server was personable and sold us on the specials (which I'm glad she did) and she just made the dinner delightful. Atmosphere was a little cramped but it was nice hearing people laugh and have a good time. Our windows had a great view of the lake and pastures. We'll definitely have to come out more often”

Fresh and homemade, the Leo’s salad w/house dressing is my go-to, however, the shrimp Florentine, shrimp a la murphy, all the pizza, eggplant parmigiana and dons special is also top tier. “This is a small, new restaurant (2023) but run by an experienced restaurateur who previously had a local food truck. The food is tasty and the portions are exactly right. Everyone in our party of three enjoyed their food. As a vegetarian, I didn’t see many options, but when I mentioned it to the owner, he said he would make a special quesadilla. It was very nice; I hope he expands his vegetarian options. I will definitely eat here again.”

It was in the middle of the lunch rush and he greeted me with the biggest smile ! The menu is simple but I think that’s best so everything is fresh!
