“I lived here as a child in the 80s and it was a great place to grow up back then, things have changed a bit, as time does that, but its still a peaceful place. Everyone is friendly and looks out for eachother. The cats are a problem that we all have to be a part of in getting under control. All Trailers create a home for them to breed in the cold and the older residents probably dont even know about it. We actually just took a male kitten in, and its our responsibility to get him fixed and vac'd. Other than that our Manager and Landlord are great people and are very helpful. An awesome place for my kids to grow up now. Abington heights school district is a great school too.”

“I had reservations here for an overnight stay and due to many travel changes, I had to change the date of my stay several times. The woman that worked there was so incredibly flexible with my frequent changes. When I finally arrived and introduced myself I was greeted with a huge hug which made me feel wonderful after a long drive. I had a HUGE pull through site (I was only there 1 night). The campground is located in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside. The view is amazing. The store at the campground has a little bit of everything you could possibly need (even cold drinks and ice cream). I would HIGHLY recommend Whispering Pines campground and I would absolutely stay there again.”

“Great, quiet spot for the night. Grounds well maintained and very friendly owners. RV pull-throughs were water and 30A, dump station on the way in or out. Very nice grounds, simple, small park with large trees, full shade sites made AC needs very minimal. We would stop here anytime.”

“Arrived on Friday afternoon in site 52 right on the river. We were greeted by a herd of elk in the river!! Beautiful site, close to town and RMNP. Friendly, clean but tight site. Lots of grass for doggies. Pricey. Did not use the showers as there was little privacy. On Saturday they had a breakfast for a donation and it was very good. Would love to go back another time.”

“Wow! What a gorgeous place! We rv camped twice within a week - by the lake and back in a quiet corner. Loved both spots. Swans and geese on the lake we're gorgeous. Each spot has it's own fire pit (put together with cool, big rocks). Campground and facilities are impeccably clean, staff friendly and it's close to downtown. The cabins look adorable (maybe a future visit!).”

“Boston Minuteman is a good spot. I booked up there initially because I had training for my job in the area and much prefer the comfort of my camper to a hotel. The park has nice amenities, the bathrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'll certainly stay there again next season, as I discovered there are many conveniently located Apple orchards which will be great for bringing the family to!”

“Pretty close together and maneuvering to park the RV is a bit tricky but the Park itself is very nice & clean (concrete pads, paved roadway). They have a laundromat and storage area for RV residents to use as well as for public. The RV Park is close to everything and the area is decent. Rates are very reasonable. Long term availability, but I would call ahead.”
