We were a bit isolated from everyone up at the very top of the hill, but the neighbors we did have pretty much kept to themselves and were friendly when we did interact with them. “We loved our stay here. We had some bad luck with our truck breaking down when we got to the campsite but the staff was awesome. Sam and Mike were so helpful. Sam literally drove me into town to pick up the part I needed to fix my truck. They also offered a ton of help as well as let me use some tools. This is the best campground I have ever been to. Keep up the great work guys.”

“I would give this a 5 star review because I personally think that this trailer park is simply lovely and such a good place to live but i struggle to get by the main street because there is one trailer that has a ridiculous amount of cars occupying the whole street a lot of the times. Always making it hard for me to pass by and they take 2 trailers worth of parking space and i just think that is unfair. anyway, other than that, i think that the place is good and comfortable altogether, again, would give higher rating but the one trailer and the cars really get to me.”

“Barton Cottages is a fantastic park for your tiny home life. Very nice scenic drive down Confederate Park Rd and or Silver Creek! I’ve been here since the end of October and I absolutely love it! I love that it’s quiet and peaceful. I get to see deer on my morning walks with the dogs, then fireflies at night. So yes, my dogs love it out here and my cats are in heaven with trees galore to climb and claw at.”

“This is our second trip to Off the Hook and Its just an amazing place!! So peaceful and clean!! The campsites are spacious and your not on top of each other , we had a group of 20 people and never felt cramped! There’s so much for the kids to do (basketball court, pool tables, swimming hole, kayaking and paddle boat, fishing, frisbee golf) they were entertained and busy the whole weekend! The staff is so sweet, your greeted with a smile and so helpful with any questions or request we had!! She even helped me out with my coffee fix 🤣🤣☕️☕️! Highly recommend this campground, we will be back for sure to make more memories❤️❤️ Truly a slice of heaven”

“A well maintained quiet campground. The process follows - drive straight in, staying to the right, and go by the bath house to fill your fresh water tank with potable water. Find your numbered site and plug in to power your trailer's water pump and lights. Enjoy. The sites going off to the right of the bath house are grassy and excellent for tent camping. The other sites are smoothed rock sites. 177 sites total - with 2 showers, 2 toilets, & 2 sinks for ladies, and 2 showers, 1 toilet, 1 urinal, & 2 sinks for men. There is also a dump station for the RV's. The only thing that was a nuisance was the train horns at different times through the night - which is something that the campground has no control over. Texts to the contact number were answered promptly. No on-site office and access is unrestricted.”

The staff were very helpful, the site was right on the riverside and it was very peaceful. My dog loved it here too and everyone seems to be a dog lover that I met. “We were able to book a month at this park as an emergency, and they were able to accommodate us. That was VERY much appreciated! It's a pretty quiet park, as most people are workers and longer timers. They allow you to get mail, and they are reasonably priced per month (you pay electric). They also have a small building with bathrooms, showers, laundry, and mail slots. The packages are dropped off in a community box under video surveillance, so I felt it was very safe and people would remain honest. The owners/managers were extremely nice and very accommodating when we needed something. Gena was always quick to answer, and make me feel at ease about contacting her. I really like how they dressed up the pond with a community table, fire pit and sitting area so we could enjoy the evening. It was too cold while here, but it is still a wonderful asset of the park. I did get excited in the beginning because the pictures from the past show the park is next to horses. Just so everyone knows, the horses are not there anymore. The only negative thing we experienced (no fault of the owners) where there were some wild cats running around that snuck out from the neighbor rig and went to attack our little dog. Definitely NOT to play.. This was pretty stressful, and we had to take her out while armed with a water spray bottle for the cats. After being sprayed a few times, they didn't attack as much.. So, just something to be watchful of. They did not belong to our neighbors Otherwise, if you are in the area for just a drive-by or for work, this RV park is a great option. I will definitely call them again when we need a place in the area. :-)”

“We have lived here for over three years. It is usualy a quiet and peaceful place. The owners Mom was here in the office every day until health problems arose but she is back now. She wants the samething we do a quiet peaceful park and as far as I'm concerned we have that. Some reviews have stated we were all meth heads but as a retired pastor I highly resent that. Every place I have ever lived can and do get bad people in the neighborhood or apartments or rv park, unfortunately that is a part of the world we live in. The management here has always worked to keep this place safe, my grandsons play here all the time without us being to concerned. I have no problem recomending Creekside RV.”
