“I love staying at Lake Medina! I stayed in the cabins and they are nice. I liked going on hikes and being able to see the wildlife out there. Then being able to come back, take a swim in the pool and end the night by our campfire. The cabins have everything you need. Fridge, stove, pots, pans etc. The cabins are really clean and the beds are great! They're spacious and nice to relax in.”

“Great little RV park. Location is near shopping, and the stadiums where the Royals and Chiefs play. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Kansas City and 20 minutes to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and the Country Club Plaza. The owner is very hands on and helpful. He did all of the hookups and set me up for surviving a KC winter. This is a great space for those who need a space for short term (3 to 6 months) or longer. I have even seen a few overnights come through, but I would think you would rather stay at the Walmart up the road. I have a 24' Motorhome, but I see many travel trailers and big 5th wheels. All spots are back up, no drive throughs and there is a spot to park your auto.”

“I love living here for so many reasons. The property manager, Stacy, has done so many great things. The children have an amazing playground because of her. We now have a gazebo with seating and a fire pit and grill to enjoy. The property is well maintained and very friendly people. I would recommend this RV park to anyone👍”

“I really enjoyed my almost year long stay here. Mary is a very kind and caring person. She made me feel at home and not alone while going through a divorce. The neighbors all watch out for one another which helped me feel safer, being a young woman alone for the first time. The rent is reasonable for what you get. While I was staying we got free wifi which was a nice plus! Cons would have to be the washer and dryers where always broken. Only 1 of each worked but Mary was always asking the previous owners to fix them. They keep your packages and mail safe at the office and over all is a quiet park with easy access to IH10.”

I'm working as a traveling RN, and this is the nicest campground I've been to. Easy access to I-10. The office ladies are the best. I hope I can come back again to the Tucson area next winter. “Our kids really enjoy Thousand Trails Medina Lake! Their highlight of each day is when they get to feed the deer. I recommend taking your own sack of deer corn, especially if you will be there a few days. We've done both tent camping as well as stayed in the cabins. The pool is very large and clean, but it's been under construction for several months. I would call to make sure it's open if that's something you are looking forward to. There is an air conditioned community center with a pool table, baby rooms, inside and outside has a large area to play tennis, ping pong, volleyball, basketball and also a small playground. Next to that is a mini golf course. The place does needs some upkeep, but i'm sure that's something their new management is working on. Overall, if you're looking for a nice, nature filled, quiet outing away from home...this is it.”
