“The place is under new ownership/management. It's a Mr. Hero so you know how it is... The place is very clean from what I could see, and it's a pretty new building so it's not run-down or seedy. They seem to always be understaffed. The staff they DO have, however, seems OK but it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to understand what they're saying due to an EXTREME Indian/Hindu accent. They seem friendly and courteous enough but service is quite slow. It's a "Catch 22" because while the service is very slow and it seems to take nearly the lifetime of a galaxy from the time you order your food until you have your food in your hand at the drive-thru, it's because everything is cooked to order so you're getting VERY FRESH food. The food quality seems good for a fast-food restaurant. They do have some new items on the menu, one of which I recently tried and found to be delicious (which is what I went back for today)...Loaded Potato Wafers...it comes with cheese, bacon, chives, and what I believe to be ranch. I'm not 100% certain because of the mix of all the flavors but it's a white sauce and the dish is actually delicious. One thing one can't help but notice is that they are very rarely busy. If you go through the drive-thru you're likely to be the only one there most of the time. I'm not sure why this is as I personally don't have any complaints about the place other than it's very expensive for fast-food. I ordered two of the large Loaded Potato Wafers and nothing else and it cost $11.98. A few days ago I ordered a MEDIUM Hot Buttered Cheesesteak with only extra meat but no onions or mushrooms and one large Loaded Potato Wafers and it was OVER $20.00!! Just TWO ITEMS and $20 plus dollars. But, again, that's Mr. Hero, it's ALWAYS been expensive but THAT was a bit of a shocker. While I have no complaints other than the ridiculous cost and how long it takes to get your food, I can't give 5 stars because it's just not 5 star worthy in my opinion. 4 stars is still excellent in my book, though.”

I usually go to Hermitage but due to being booked out for months, they sent me here. I think this is where I will stay even though it's more of a drive. The eye doc gave me nothing but good vibes and I felt so comfortable there. They always answer the phone when I call and they're just so nice and soft spoken. “On May 14, 2026, a local near Michigan Central Station recommended an ice cream spot to me. Craving something sweet, my friends and I made our way over, only to arrive right at closing time. As we approached the entrance, co-owner Ruth kindly gestured that they were closed—but then opened the door just to hear us out. We explained that we had come based on a local’s recommendation and fully understood that we’d have to return another time. Moved by our story, Ruth invited us inside to at least say hello to her husband Tom, the other co-owner. We stepped in, just to show appreciation and let them know we’d respect their hours and be back. To our surprise, Ruth and Tom generously offered each of us a scoop of ice cream—letting us choose our flavors—and welcomed us with warm, genuine conversation. We talked about Detroit, the auto industry, Michigan Central Station, and more. It wasn’t just the dessert that made the visit special, but the hospitality and human connection they shared. Their kindness and the overall experience were truly remarkable. Ruth and Tom embody what it means to go above and beyond for their customers. Everyone was friendly. Even as I was standing in the “cage”, everyone that went past asked if I had been helped yet. The one negative aspect is the lack of restrooms; not even a portable-potty. Take note: The door assignments that they give pertain to the numbers on the DOOR. Disregard the numbers high up on the building. And yes, I know from experience that this can cause confusion 🤦♂️.”
