“I came in today on Sept 11th for lunch. The food was great and the prices were super affordable and they give you big portions for what we pay for. I got the taco salad. It came with a blueberry muffin which the muffin was perfectly sweet and fluffy. The taco shell was light and crispy. The salad was fresh and tasty. The ground beef was cooked perfectly. They gave me extra sour cream and extra Italian dressing like I asked. The food was 5 out of 5 and great for the price. The service however was a different story. I can tell that the waitresses are on autopilot and don't enjoy working there. When I was done eating, I asked a waitress that wasn't my waitress (a tan skinned girl with long black hair looked like she was in her 20's) for my check. She was rude and looked at me like I was dumb. She just said "I don't know who your waitress is" and quickly turned around and walked away. She could have said "I'm sorry, I don't know who your waitress is. Let me find out and let your waitress know." but she obviously wasn't a team player and was lazy. Bad service from her. My waitress (an older lady with short gray/white hair) was obviously stuck on auto pilot. It definitely was not service with a smile. I gave my waitress the benefit of the doubt and maybe she was having an off day. I still tipped her $5 on a check that was $12.49. I will also give them bonus points because the food came out fast, which I appreciated and gave them 2 out of 5 stars for service instead of 0 out of 5 stars for service.”

“I did my first ever Hijama/Cupping session yesterday, and I am so happy with my experience. This is a family run practice and they are super professional and kind. They usually open at 11 am but made an exception for me and opened at 10 am. They also took the time to explain the process and gave me advice on which package to pick. They treated me with a lot of care and respect. The room setup is very aesthetic and extremely clean. They informed me that all the cupping materials they use are disposable (one time use only) which made me feel safe. They have a separate room for women, so I had full privacy. The after care instructions were also well explained. I will definitely be returning. They also offer facias, I am excited to try that next. If you are in two minds, dont be. Give them a try, I highly recommend it!”

“Amazing and caring staff here! Very very on top of all medical needs & you actually physically see & talk to a Nurse Practitioner every single day you are there! As well as video appointments with a therapist weekly if not more! Very clean environment & living space! Smoke breaks hourly! Detox is rough but I see why they do it the way they do! Group meetings all day long, 8am-930pm every single day(some learning, some music, some games, some coloring or journaling, some patient picks, and some therapeutic)meal breaks(3-30 minute meals) & smoke breaks every 10 til the hour! Lots to drink, healthy snacks, you keep your cellphone on you at all times!! State provides meals, snacks, drinks, cigarettes(yes smokes), transportation, hygiene, medication, and even clothing or shoes if you have none!!! I met the most amazing & the most kind hearted people at this place! Thank you Northwoods and thank you STACEY for helping me get into Rehab as fast as you did! 5-7 people within 2-3 days she got placed! Thank you everyone for your kindness while I was in such an emotional and fragile state I was in & being new to that type of assistance!
