“My family spent a week vacation in Santa Cruz at the Torch Lite and we'd do it again. The location is perfect. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Boardwalk and 10 minutes to downtown restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and recently updated so everything is new. We enjoyed sitting out on their second floor patio, but note that their pool had been removed. My only small complaints were our room was not serviced during our stay and the bath soap and shampoo weren't very high quality.”

“First trip here we were sold and going to try and get on the waiting list to get an annual spot. Owner and staff super nice and place is well maintained. The weekend were there was really slow but I get the feel it's a family place. Good river access from most spots. Boat ramp also available on site. 5 - 10 minute boat ride from Hamm Creek Park so you could have people there and shuttle between the two. Highly recommend. Locked gate access and you must call if your not an annual user to see the property. On site RV and boat storage if you are a annual user and want to store your equipment there. Adding to my first review. We went back for Memorial Day weekend to tent camp this time. First the staff was super nice and helpful again. Can't say enough good things about them. The tent spots were large enough for several tents with plenty of shade. There were clean restrooms provided, no showers. Good amount of firewood delivered to your campsite for 30$. Highly recommend this place.”

We spoke with management and they were very polite and helpful. Rates a very reasonable compared to other parks. We are considering a couple of different parks for my mother to move onto , But this one is at the top of our list by far.”

However... the hair dryer did not work (which I was really counting on) and the toilet seat was very loose. “Front desk clerk was so sweet she greeted us with a welcome she was very informative and gave us all the information we needed for our stay ,,the room was clean and comfortable and the pool was clean and the pool furniture was comfortable to sit by the pool for relaxation ,after leaving that Sunday was looking for complimentary breakfast which wasn't too much supplied to guest,, have to work on that especially with coffee 😊but otherwise my family and I enjoyed our stay the front desk clerk who name was Ashley B told us thank you for coming and hope to see us again loved the customer service given❤️”

“Fantastic location!!! A great midway point between the Pier and Belmont Park. Lots of great food and drink places super close. The lobby was under construction but it looks like there is going to be some great improvements in the future! The pool and hot tub were really nice, great sunset views that directly face the ocean. The rooms were clean and spacious. Not sure if it needs to be requested or not but the daily house keeping service was inconsistent. They came the first two days and then did not come again. We were fine except for the pool towels, definitely recommend having back ups or asking for more. Every interaction with staff was super pleasant and everyone was helpful and nice.”

“The rooms are small but they have everything you need, the beds are comfy and the A/C works well. Good water pressure and good water heat. This is exactly across from the beach and is perfectly located for a vacation stay. The front desk was very accommodating and helpful. The only thing I would say is don't stay here if you have any walking problems because all rooms are up some steep stairs.”
