“We stayed for two nights on a caravan site. It was perfectly acceptable. certainly the facilities are a bit dated, but they were clean and functional. Perhaps the limited reviews related to cabins and I can't comment, but for RVs it's quite OK. Lots of open grass areas, good camp kitchen and recreation room with TV. No problems”

“We were heading back to Vegas from the Grand Canyon and decided to see if we could find accommodations at Lake Mead. We came across Temple Bar. We could not have been more satisfied with this place. The rooms were neat and clean. The restaurant was great and the food was fantastic. The taco salad was the best meal we had all week. The property was immaculate and very well cared for. It was clear that the owners and staff take pride in their business. This place has it all. Nice Job”

“Stayed for about a year they have 1 bed room and 2 bedroom suites they are very nice the 1 bedroom suite has 2 beds in they are in a actual room of there own with a door to shut for your own privacy and the 2 bedroom has 1 king bed in both rooms we’re you can shut the door and have privacy also they have a kitchen with actual fridge for food instead of just a small lil one they also have a stove top it’s only two burners but it’s great for a quick place to stay when I was down on my luck they actually made me feel so welcome and helped me with everything they have a nice staff and one lady that works there she’s a manager she was the most welcoming and sweet but these are over all nice I liked my stay there, Would definitely stay again!!!!”

“It was definitely built for a different era. But what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in necessities. The room has a small fridge and a microwave oven. It's a place to crash for the night. There's no work space, not even a phone to call the front desk. If you're picky and want room service this place is not for you. If you're looking for a reasonable room for a reasonable rate then yeah. You're like me. It serves its function well.”

Hard To Get Them On The Bed During The Day. When They Not In Daycare Or School.. They Stay Home Play With Toys , Just Being Kids. “We had out of town guests ( 6) they loved the Historical atmosphere of the house. They enjoyed the comfort of having a complete kitchen & living room for relaxing. Very clean reasonably priced. The only problem was the bathroom tubs, were high and no grab bars to get in and out. Over all it was a Great experience for them. I would highly recommend this house to friends.”

“This little gem is well kept by the owners who pretty much do everything here. Check in and maintain the rooms. Which means they care about their business. Super clean sliding lock floors as opposed to older hotels with carpeted rooms in the area plus these rooms just feel bigger and more space for me to setup my computer and do some work online. Internet is great when not a full house and price is perfect for as close to Nashville as it is. All in all close to a Hilton Garden Suites Room. Well worth it to stay here.”

“My father lived here for over 10 years. He loved everything about it. I was his caretaker for the last 3 years of his life as he had terminal cancer. The rules on parking and yard upkeep were very stricked but I am not complaining. As those stricked rules are what keeps the place so nice. The management did change a couple of times but the level of outstanding work from those people never faltered. They are good people with excellent work ethics and the management should be recognized for their outstanding contributions. I highly recommend this RV park to anyone who can manage to be patient on the RV waiting list especally if you plan to stay for an extended period of time. All of the Amenities make it a very convenient place to live and the community is so friendly it's great. They even have 2 car washing stalls as well as access to yard tools and lawn mowers hedge trimmers and edgers. The laundry Matt even had clothes lines for your clothes that you don't want in dryer to air dry!! I can't even think of any way this place could be improved. I will miss going there to visit and care for my father as he made some very nice friends who were so helpful and showed genuine concern for a sick old man. They will be missed.”

“Nice newer campground, clean bathhouse. The tent pads are quite large. Plenty of water spigots and trash & recycling cans. They don't allow alcohol. Not a ton of privacy on any sites, and some sites are more shaded than others. The gravel driveways for the sites are mostly very long, plenty of room for an RV or multiple vehicles. There are some cabins as well as tent & RV sites, they looked nice from the outside. Bike trails start right at the campground, and the main park with hiking trails is only a half mile walk. Overall a nice place, but I'd imagine tent camping in the summer would be very hot.”
