“Only 4 of 5 because I nearly never give anything 5 stars. Rooms were a good price. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the indoor pool! Our waiter in the evening was awesome. Very soft beds. The night lady at the front desk ,with the piercings was great! Very helpful! I wish their winery would have been open. However they were short staffed and I understand that! They even had a pack and play available for our toddler! Hope to stay there again soon!”

“The managers have done such a beautiful job with maintaining this park as well as being polite and professional. The pool area is relaxing with built in bbq, plenty of seating and built in pergolas for shade. The location of the park is above the valley so we get a great breeze. The best part is we are far enough from the city to feel like we are in country but close enough to be able to do quick trips to stores, restaurants or anything else. Downside is we live in east county so it does get hot here but that's on Mother Nature. As long as you have an air conditioner the heat is no issue. When we purchased the home we had to get one installed and the process was pretty easy. The park managers where very informative on what was required for installation. Just a simple building permit and inspection and you are good to go. Most neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is quiet. You couldn’t ask for anything better.”

“I've been going to this Motel off & on for the past couple of years! What I can appreciate is you are able to stay for 21 days with out checking out if rooms are available! Also there is security and no guests after ten pm. I have also tried a few items from the menu, I recommend the club cheese burger it's so yummy! I love the waffle combo, and the bloody Mary with pickled vodka is a delicious hang over cure! The front desk is great with honoring price matching, house keeping does a great job cleaning the rooms, though usually spread a little thin , they have aways accommodated my needs. The building is older & so I have seen some creepy crawlers from time to time. The location is close to downtown phx ! There are a few options aside from the restaurant to eat in the surrounding area, the staff has treated me well thus far. I would recommend this motel even if your not a trucker”

“I absolutely love it here so far. Been here a week and haven't had any issues. The staff has been kind, courteous and caring so far. (Staying for a while due to working construction). They even sell essentials that most hotel don't in case you've forgotten something. Every week the housekeepers come in and do a thorough clean. I never have to ask for towels. Also all smokers are on the very top floor which saves nonsmokers the hazard of being affected by the smoke. The size of the room seems small but it's a nice size and the bathroom is larger than some apartment's bathrooms. It also has an apartment size refrigerator which helps us save on food because we have the room to store it properly. There hasn't been a lot of noise or drama that u might find in an extended stay. I've stayed in a fair few because of the nature of my job.”

“Great little park with access to the lake amd several interesting dive sites. No day use and limited camp sites available keep the crowd level low. We booked campsite for weekend but only stayed during the day for dive site access. Campsites near the lake are nice for primitive camping but sites further back are lacking lake views/access from camp to lake. Not a big deal for us but if I was camping there I would try for a closer site. Restrooms are a pit toilet and the age is showing. Not gross, just old and in need of a touch up. Camp hosts were incredibly polite and helpful. All in all a cool place to hang out, swim, and dive.”

“I spent the night out here, camping by myself, and it was wonderful. I had the place to myself, and it was so peaceful and serene. I relaxed and rested, and it was exactly what I needed. The bathrooms with showers were nice, and there are picnic tables all over. I will definitely be back. Beautiful spot.”

“I live here. Has two nice pools, a cool clubhouse, a basketball court, and two really little parks. The houses are really close together though, you probably won't get a yard. There's also no sidewalks, so be aware of small children.”

“This was a great little hidden gem. The staff were friendly and even went above and beyond. I requested an early check in because of when our flight was getting in and they called me to see when we would be there to get our room ready. It was nice also they have a coin operated laundry room so you don't have to bring sandy clothes back home. The view was beautiful and steps away from the beach. If your not a beach person the pool was a nice added feature. You are also a walk away from Restaurants and bars so if the hustle and bustle of downtown Fort Lauderdale isn't for you there is a more laid back place to go. When we travel again we have found our new home away from home.”

“Okay let me tell you about the Texas motel. I hear that they're janky people are mad because check out time and if you want to stay over you still have to check out blah blah blah. Well I went last night. And I thought to myself self what are you signing yourself up for one I don't like bugs two you're not going to get no sleep here you know everyone said how dirty it was, I'm glad I'm grown and can make my own assessments. The shock and disbelief that everybody had lied to me about this establishment because of the age of the hotel and the location that it's in,hurt. You should never judge a book by its cover because even if it is worn and torn it could still be a good book well I owe the Texas motel a great big apology because last night I got a good night's sleep really good and on top of that it was clean very clean kudos to the housekeepers . Not exactly sure who started that rumor but shame on them. Because they were clean it was clean it smells so good when I walked in that room.Thank you to the owners. Y'all are amazing.The extra hour of sleep only cost $10 but it was well worth it. I recommend them to anyone. And I figure it like this it's the people who stay at this establishment as guest customers have whatever you want to label them as they're the ones who make these places what they are if you don't want to go to a dirty motel don't trash it out don't tear it up be respectful pick up after yourself don't leave a mess don't bring a whole bunch of g*********** and drugs and everything else to the establishment treat everybody as you want to be treated. “What a wonderful hotel! We stayed only one night as we were attending a concert at the Blossom Music Center, but would have been happy spending many nights there. The rooms are lovely and updated, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The only thing that wasn't so great was the shower, but not a big deal. Breakfast was basic, but very good. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again if I am ever in the area”

“I was looking for a 3 bedroom family friendly rental in or near Nashville for 5 nights. Everything on airbnb was over $1,000. I found old hickory lake cabins and was so happy to find a 3 bedroom for $840 for the 5 nights. It was a total bonus it was right on the lake! We spent lots of time throwing rocks into the water (my almost 2 year old could do this for hours) and having bonfires down by the water. This cabin is very family friendly with games, toys, and a bathtub for the little ones. The owner is very nice and helpful. We had no issues checking in and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. We received our security deposit back promptly. If we are ever back in the Nashville area we would absolutely stay again and I recommend this location to anyone looking for a family friendly vacation rental.”
