“It was the perfect stay. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are so relaxing. The hospitality is unparalleled. And the food was fantastic! The breakfast was big, tasty, and satisfying. They are the best B&B I have seen with dietary restrictions, everyone was taken care of, whereas most places do the bare minimum or make lots of mistakes. There's no way I'll stay anywhere else in Big Bear. It's simply the best!”

“Absolutely charming. I love that the guest room and bathroom were in one end of the home. I am a very interactive person and enjoy getting to know new people. It was wonderful to hear her stories and the pride in her family. The bedroom had the most comfortable bed I have slept on in years. This Airbnb is saved as one of my favorites and plan on making reservations well in advance.”

“My husband and I spontaneously decided to head to the area for a much needed mini getaway and luckily they had vacancy. The rates were very fair. The room was clean, the queen sized bed was comfortable, and we appreciated that they had a coffee maker. Our room had an AC and heater unit along with a ceiling fan. They have BBQ grills for guest use. We grilled some burgers our first night and enjoyed eating outside in one of the patio areas. Everyone that I interacted with on their team was super friendly. And let’s not forget that the Kern River is literally a 1 minute walk from the lodge! My husband went fishing and while he didn’t catch anything he had a great time. This is such a wonderful place to relax and recharge. We’ll definitely be back.”

“The place is so beautiful all over. Plants and nature everywhere in the front. The host was so friendly from the start right up to the check out. Very resourceful and kind. Also this place was very close to alot of parks and nice walks. It was a great relaxing couple of days I needed after a long road trip and I'm so happy I found this place. I really want to visit Oregon again just to get more time at this place and check out more of the local sites.”

“Much better than expected, had to stay here due to a flight being cancelled and for whatever reason most hotels were either sold out or extremely expensive. Only needed it from 10pm-5am anyways so I wasn’t picky. I was given a room that was very spacious it had an entire living area as well as a huge bed. Bathroom was clean. Very pleased.”

“Fantastic place. It's more like a private covasac than a trailer park. Safe place and wonderful neighbors. More like one big loving family. The owners are very involved and keep the place great for everyone. I can't say enough about how blessed my family is to have gotten to live here. And the manager, Glenda is above and beyond. She would do anything to help anyone here.”

“Moved here over ten years ago. We may have overpaid for our (new at the time) dwelling during the peak of the housing market in 2006, but don't regret moving here. We've had a few nuisance neighbors over the years, but they've all been weeded out by park management. We live in a mostly quiet park, no crime, no deadbeats, beautiful sunsets and a cold pool during the summer. This community is located on the fringe of civilization, just far enough east to be tranquil (aside from the occasional fire truck), but located within a quick distance to the freeway. I commute to national city daily and it's only thirty or so minutes. Space rent is reasonable, park management isn't always riding you, you have annual inspections and get occasional notices for weeds or random things they frown upon being stored in your carport, but overall way better than any apartment living. There's just enough guest parking for friends to come over and we plan to be here until we can afford a home on private property. If you're looking to live in a manufactured home, I would recommend this park.”

“This is a nice RV park. It does have a rustic look to it. The staff is very friendly. The only drawback is the train track. A couple times per day a train comes through blaring the horn which is quite loud as the tracks run very close to the RV park. To make it worse, the train runs on some nights and the horn was blaring at 1:00am - 2:30am. YES it was loud enough to wake me up each time. Suggestion to the owners: You can contact the rail line and ask that horns not be used (quiet zone). If they approve it, they will post signs on the tracks for the engineers to not sound the horn unless there is an emergency. I've seen these signs in quite a few locations along residential areas. Maybe at least have it evaluated for the night time hours. The tracks should have a sign posted at most intersections listing the name of the company who owns the tracks with a phone number. The RV spots are not far apart, but are spaced far enough, and with the trees does give a measure of some privacy. Spots are pretty level. I would stay here again.”

“I loved the house....sparkling clean and polished to perfection. We were a bike group of six, and had a very thorough welcome. Guido was terrific with assisting in bike adjustment and GAP trail tidbits. He made my life better by leveling my seat. He had all the necessary tools in the bike barn. When asked, we were given a selection of restaurants....we went to a wonderful local restaurant/bar. Lucy fixed an outstanding breakfast...a terrific way to start the day.”

“A great hotel right next to the airport. Quick and friendly service. The only complaint is that the heavy curtains don't close all the way, letting in extra light. But, it's easy enough to fix using luggage or a clip to hold them closed.”

“My mom lives here and bought her place for only a couple thousand dollars! Sure it needed some fixing up, but over the years she has made it a nice little place. The lot rent is $500 per month. Not the fanciest trailer park but it is very clean and has a large community pool with huge bathrooms and showers and lots of community activities, free air, putting course, small dog park and a laundry room. They have pool tournaments all the time. Overall a nice little place for 55+”
