“Nice campground. The camp sites are a little close for comfort - basically the sites are like 2.5-wide parking spots on either side of the main road. I can comfortably fit my 5th-wheel trailer with the slides out next to my pick up truck in the parking spot, but there’s no margin in between your spot and your neighbor’s. The full hookup sites have 30A and 20A electrical hookups and water, but the big downside is that the drains are only for gray water - you can’t drain your black tank at your site. There’s a designated dump station at the campground, but it’s a hassle if you’re staying for more than a few days and you have to hook up the trailer and drive over to the dump station and then re-park and set everything back up at your site. The views of Lake Perris are really nice and the campground itself is very scenic and well laid out with hiking trails and a decent beach. There is a bit of a problem with litter on the ground and in the water though. Prices are a little high with no weekly discounts, compared to other campgrounds and RV parks, but I guess that’s to be expected in California.”

“Hi, I am currently staying here now and I typically do not review every place I stay but I feel like Jennifer deserves some recognition! I read the previous reviews about her and I did not experience anything remotely negative or rude about her! She was attentive, personable and polite from check in to my check out. She experienced a high call volume when I was checking in, she was profusely saying sorry to me and telling callers to politely wait on hold as she "wants to give every guest her full attention" (: I met with her again because my 4 year old was being a little rowdy/stomping around leading to a noise complaint. She came upstairs to our room to tell us of the issue and was very understanding because my son is young and obviously was not doing it on purpose. I really feel like she is doing the best she can with being the only person i saw working the front desk and catering to guests needs at the hotel. These five stars I am leaving go to her! “We chose this location randomly from many other options and had the best experience! This Best Western is definitely nicer than a typical 3-star hotel. The rooms are very clean and generously appointed, and they're bigger than we expected as well. The housekeeping staff was lovely - quick, efficient and very thorough. The beds were that perfect blend of supportive and soft. The front desk person was fast and knowledgeable and helped us with the area numerous times. Our stay (2 nights) at Villa Del Lagos Best Western was excellent, and we wished we could stay longer.”

“I was able to tour this bed and breakfast during the Dickinson Historical Society tour. This place is FANTASTIC! The texture of the different materials is wonderful. The pool area surrounded by gazebos and vines feels like a private oasis. This is a great place e for a romantic weekend getaway.”

“I’m here now, I stay in a different hotel every night, all over the western states. This hotel deserves more stars than the 5 available to give in my book. I do a bit of traveling for work. I am unimpressed with some of the reviews given on here. Some of you people really expect to have your hand held when you leave home. This place is clean, updated, and affordable. The front desk lady is direct and helpful. I will admit I questioned my reservation, thinking it to be charged twice, to only looking stupid in the end. What can I say, long day of work, hangry, and just want to rest. Pool is open, breakfast will be there in the morning, Bed is comfortable, my pet peeve is the cleanliness of the bathroom. It is super clean. Personally, I couldn’t ask for better. If the lady this evening is present in the morning, I will thank her and the other staff for a great nights stay.”

“This place is a gem. Very beautifully kept, easy access to the lake, right in town so you can grab supplies and what not, but don't feel like you're right down the street from everything. The camp hosts were so sweet and kept the bathrooms immaculate. I had to leave a day early because my dog had to be rushed to the vet, and before I was even done driving out of the campground, they had processed a refund for my last night-which I was not expecting at all. Thank you all so much, we'll be back!”

“Great location, good service, basic rooms. The view is a golf course. There is ample parking. The rooms are good motel rooms but the furniture needs dusting and the carpets need cleaning. A night of walking around barefoot will leave your feet black. Look for ample South Florida lizards, frogs, and ducks. A great value in the expensive Miami metro area.”

“Reasonably priced Best Western, our room was very nice and though the bathroom was not fully stocked, the desk attendant came immediately to correct the situation. Comfy beds with an extra blanket which I was happy to use. The AC was not noisy, the room appeared to be clean, all the lights worked, no problem with the plumbing, etc. The breakfast area was attractive and attentively managed. The crew was very pleasant and helpful. “Marilyn” was particularly on the ball, but each individual was cheerful and staying busy.”

““B” Street Bed and Breakfast is a quaint and charming place to stay. We were there last June. It was a chilly couple of days. Picture walking down the Main Street at night on boarded sidewalks. Invisible throngs of passer byes sail down the wind swept streets, hanging store signs creaking in the cold June wind. You stop for a bite to eat in the Red Dog Saloon and it’s the local talent night show. The salad and ribs are delicious. It’s pure delight and the past two years of hell are forgotten, and maybe somehow never happened at all.”
