Kreutzberg Canyon Natural Area

Address: 143 Mark Twain Dr, Boerne, TX 78006, USA

“Nice park -- the maintenance just need to create some natural steps out of stone or steps cut into the dirt onto the huge almost-vertical hill you have to go down & up to get to the trail on the other side; A lot of people aren't able to get down this hill because of knee issues or without slipping down the dirt & falling & hurting themselves. USE THE TAX DOLLARS WE PAY TO RIVER MOUNTAIN TO CARVE/CREATE SOME NATURAL STEPS INTO THE STEEP HILL FOR SAFETY!”

Can’t wait until they finish!”

Derge County Park

“What a beautiful small campground with a great view of Beaver Dam Lake. Most of the sites were nice and large. The grounds were very well maintained and the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower house was impeccable. We camped at this park for a week. We especially really appreciated the warm hospitality from the host Kevin. He made himself visible many times a day when taking walks through the campground and stopping to chat to see if we had any needs. We even ended up meeting some local residents that happened to be from our home town due to his word of mouth.”

“Small little tucked away park with shade. The water fountains work and it’s exactly what you’d expect from a little neighborhood park. There is a basketball court (unsure if it’s regulation size but I don’t remember it being painted), a pavilion with 3 picnic tables, and a small building you can rent out from the Parks & Rec department. The building has one restroom, one mirrored wall, and comes equipped with several tables and chairs you can use. Will be great for a birthday party like we have planned!”

It's a beautiful RV park with friendly longhorns on the premises who don't mind having their picture taken :) The owner, Ken is super friendly, informative and so helpful. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. The weather is so nice (compared to Maine right now lol). Because we really needed to stay put for a bit to do some work (we're full-time RVers), we decided to stay until the end of the month! That's how much we like this RV park. So, our first Texas Christmas!”
