“My favourite little park. A great balance between open space and trees. Cute little jungle gym and lots of benches dotted along the trail should you want a rest. My husband and I love to feed the crows here and this is where we go for most walks. Plenty of room to share and never crowded, everyone is always very nice too. Clean. And a local rock painting group hides their rocks around here so keep on the lookout. :) Funny enough I too hid my rocks here not realizing it was a frequented rock-hiding spot! There are lots of interesting little plants around too for the botany nerds out there (me lol).”

“One of my favorite parks. Sure, not a 5 star but consistently a cool little place to go. Not very big but has a great feel. It’s like two different little forests right next to each other. Each has a very different feel. The western part has such unique character. Kind of Tolkien-y. I expect gnome to pop out of the ground at any time. If you live in the area definitely worth checking out.”

“My husband booked the "triple threat" for me and my family for my birthday and it was truly an exceptional once-in-a-life-time experience! Adam is an extremely knowledgeable falconer and guide. It was awesome to see him handle the magnificent birds with such finesse. Holding the owl was surreal! What a beautiful and gentle encounter. Then came time for the hawks to show their stuff. Having them land on my arm was such an exhilarating thrill as one who has always loved birds. I cannot recommend Hawks on Hand enough! Thank you so very much, Adam! “I'm not a fan of hiking but Hillman has a Wetland Trail which is easy to walk and passes several nice ponds (see one pond in attached picture). If hiking's your thing, there's 18 other trails running a total of 34 miles. The other feature of the park is for a specific hobby of radio-controlled aircraft flying. Participants must meet strict rules to fly. Also check out the covered bridge at the park's Kramer Road end.
