“Not much to it. Just a frame for a large hut and a couple of signs. Not sure where that photo came from since there is no structure like it at the site. However, the village is part of a beautiful park offering a scenic drive, boat access to the Patuxent, lots of trails for 2- and 4-legged hikers and other amenities.”

“Pretty cool place. I went because I took my dog my dog to the dog park that is there, although it was closed for fencing repairs (dog part of it) , I still allowed my dog to run around and explore. There is even an R.C. track for remote controlled cars to race, etc. I was pretty impressed by the whole place. It wasn't crowded and a great place to go mountain biking with what appeared to be miles of trails for mountain bike riders/racers.”

“As far as parks go, this is one of the better ones. Separated dog park for letting your dog run around. If you're ok with a leash, take them around the man made lake. The park is not super well kept, you may find deep holes in the grass and the sidewalk may be covered in duck droppings. Overall, it's worth exploring here”

“Quiet space in the middle of the of the busy comute on Bland Blvd. Just about a mile around a man made lake and in the summer time fountain. Parking isn't noticeable business close by called Stone Quarry you can park in the lot and walk to the park. Great place to walk my 2 little dogs and for them it's rewarding.”

“We had a great time interacting with flamingos and exotic birds. There was so much to see and the walk was great. The butterfly garden is a wonderful and beautiful experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only critic would be the restrooms. The restrooms are not set up for handicap or families. They were very uncomfortable. That's why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.”

“A beautiful little township park. The park offers a nice walk through forests - very colorful this time of year, as well as open prairie and some small water features that attract ducks and geese. It has nice improvements provided by local scouts and is well maintained. The only slight downside is the entrance/parking location off Warner Road can feel dark and remote - I don’t mind but some may not feel safe. A nice place to walk and enjoy nature.”
