“Take the steep ravine up to the veterans bench, then loop back down via the dipsea. A really nice 2-3 hour hike with amazing views at the top. Gives you an awesome variety of trees and growth, with a mixture of shade and sun. Bathrooms are found about halfway at a ranger station. My favorite hike!”

“Great little campground to rest in after cycling from Oakland. $7 To camp at the Hike & Bike Site. Hike and Bike Campground is number 3 which is under the trees and get rain precipitating from the trees at night so bring a good waterproof tent, not a minal coversheet like one poor girl had setup under when I arrived in the dark to discover. It's cold and foggy in the mornings but the sun hits the north western corners of the car park so you can dry out your tent and gear. Rangers were nice helpful and friendly, they tried to help fix a flat on a guy's pickup the next morn. Bike repair station is a great touch for Cyclists.”

“This is one of the most gorgeous places for a walk in the Bay. It is a little tricky in places (rocks/roots in trail, just be careful) but for the most part not very difficult. It smells so nice, especially after the rain!”

“This is a fairly easy and straightforward hike. Great for families or people who want to be in nature but want to relax. This hike leads to the West Point Inn where you can have their famous pancake breakfast. Just be sure to look up which days they are serving. They only do it about once a month from May to October.”

“It's a great place to go sometimes I go here a lot at night they have a restroom that is always open and very convenient for stopping by and using that if you're in a hurry to get somewhere but sometimes the parking lot is full of cars because people do yoga or something at the park in the morning and it's kind of a small parking lot but other than that I would say it's a great park and it has a bathroom which is very important to me and I love that.”

“Lush green lawn overlooking the bay. Park fee is $10. Plenty of parking. Excellent facility and location for fishing. Two stainless steel sinks with water to clean up your fishes on the wharf. Park is not big.”
