“We have been going to Charlie for cheesecakes for more than 10 years. Our kids love his cheesecake more than mine and getting one to celebrate birthdays became a family tradition. His cookie crust is so good! The cheesecake is delicious- it’s the real deal. Charlie is always happy and interesting to talk to- always glad to see you and share some interesting info. “Well, I didn't commit to moving forward with their services (yet), but I had a GREAT experience and left feeling way better about the situation. Let me explain... I scraped a parked car the other day and took the brunt of the damage. I called Akins and spoke to Maya asking to be forwarded to the Almaden shop for an estimate. She was very kind and professional and had me set up with Dan for an estimate the very next morning. Saw Dan today and he took a look at the damage. I'll cut it short by saying he was completely honest and straight forward with me and gave me ALL my options. At the end of the inspection and initial estimate ( which was actually cheaper than I expected) he took some rubbing compound and cleaned up the scrape marks. It looks wayyy better now. I really, REALLY appreciate that. I now have to decide whether or not I want to move forward being that it's an old truck and I'm coming out of pocket, but Akins is and will be the ONLY establishment I trust at this point. It feels good to know the business I'm going to use if and when I proceed is going to do right by me. Now I have to weigh out my options, but if you're thinking about this place, don't think, just go. You'll know you made the right choice after the first meeting. Thanks again, Dan!”
