“Calming, relaxing, thanks to the man that was doing Tai Chi that reminded me that that was what I needed. Sometimes we have all the tools too have an amazing life and we let things push us sideways and we forget. Self-care, Tai Chi, Sunset Cliffs, the Pacific Ocean... five stars all the way! Of course, where it is posted "stay back," please stay back! These cliffs do fall in.”

“Sunset Cliffs is one of my favorite spots in town, and it might be one of the best places to catch the sunset. It's super scenic, and there's plenty of parking---with some parking lots, and also street parking. Be sure to wear proper shoes, as some parts are a bit rocky. Be sure to wear proper shoes, as some parts are a bit rocky. There's a stairwell that goes down to the shore---try to time it so that the tide is out, so you're actually able to walk all the way down. There's a beach called "Secret Beach" if you time it just right, and it has tide pools. There's a beach called "Secret Beach" if you time it just right, and it has tide pools. In general, there aren't really any public restrooms---there's one port-a-potty at the very end, and I haven't been brave enough to try it out. “Very nice park. Ample parking. Park is dog friendly, but it is still technically an ON leash dog spot. Despite this, you will find many dogs roaming free and enjoying life. Just be careful though, because they occasionally enforce the leash policy and you’ll very quickly get a $300 ticket!”

“My first time at this park was during the lantern festival and all I gotta say "amazing." It's honestly a pleasant view to see a community come together and manage a beautiful event. I attended and let my lantern float away, with the hope that my deceased mother would never forget that I miss and cherish her, that I'm doing the best I can with what she left me. Other then that this park was well maintained and easy to access. Come check it out!”

“Great rec area but the playgrounds are from the 70s.... A time when child safety apparently wasn't a big concern. Tons of ducks to feed and a really nice walking/running path.”

“Over 7,000 acres and 60 miles of trails. Great place. Fishing, biking, hiking, and mountain biking. Gorgeous valleys and a nice view of the city. Some of the most impressive geologic formations inland from the coast. Looking west from atop the peaks, it's easy to imagine the ancient delta and alluvial fan. Critical park system that serves as a recreational and wildlife refuge for people and nature.”

“Nice clean & close to everything. This park has several benches looking at the new arena for the Rams & Chargers. Those same benches have grills shadowed by the trees above & walking trails around the park that transitions into jogging trails that are padded for reduced shin stress. The recreation center is open frequently for activities & entertainment as well.”

“Good place for rest. Very green, not too quiet, but if you live in LA county- it really very green place. Good place for your pets. You can spend the time with your family (friends) but this picnic area doesn't have a lot of tables... You should have yours own cover or table and chairs”

“Kids love coming to this park We've been coming for years. When they were just months old we brought them to the parent Nd me swimming classes. And they have not looked back since, 11 years later they are both great swimmers. They run up and down the fresh cut grassy hills. The restrooms are clean, the playground is well kept and the community eating areas are nice. Come with the family.”
