“It was clean!! I guess no too many people know about this park or it would be destroy like most of the city's park. Needs more tree for shade but overall, nice park. I can tell the neighbors care about their park.”

“Nice, clean park to enjoy with the family. Softball, soccer, a fun playground for the kiddos & a really nice reservoir to hike around or enjoy catching some fish... also, did see some people with their own paddle boat, so add your own non-powered boat to your fun filled day at the park.”

“Used to bring my kids here yrs ago. It's a clean park with lots to do for the kids. No restrooms or bbq's, but there are tennis courts, a lot of cement tables and a water fountain.”

“This is my first time coming to Magnolia Park. It's a lovely little park with both uncovered and covered picnic tables BBQ pits. A little splash area for the kids to get wet on hot summer days and a full on play area. I really sweet little place to have fun with your family. I highly recommend if you're in the area.”

“Great spot. Everyone was respectful of each other's space. Nice people having a good time with their kids. Fun for catching frogs or just wading in the water. I really hope it doesnt get destroyed over the summer with trash! Take away what you bring!”

“Great little preserve ran by the Ventura Land Trust (VLT). Entrance is off the bike path that follows Hwy 33 towards Ventura. Park under the 33 Hwy and Casitas Vista Road. Hide any valuables out of sight in your car so nobody walking around gets any ideas. Walk towards the park and then down the bike path a few minutes and you'll see the trailhead sign on your right. The entire trail(s) is only a mile or so but you'll find the river back there. According to the VLT you can enter the river and explore just be safe and respectful of the nature there. There can occasionally be vagrants near the area so I'd always go with a buddy. Have fun!”

“One of my favorite places in San Diego! Be sure to do the full loop to see both the park and the beach side. Great spot for picnics, bonfires, paddle boarding, kayaking, running, walking and bringing the pups. They have cement fire pits, first come first serve. Free parking. Paved path for bikes and wheelchairs.”

“Such a fabulous local place to learn about nature and have fun with the kids. The one on one excursions are extremely affordable and the animals are so close it's like you can reach out and touch them. Also, there are so many things in the gift shop that are affordable...i wanted to buy everything. Living Coast is doing such a great and important job to preserve our local wildlife! I was truly impressed with everything. I will definitely be purchasing a membership! I can't wait to visit again.”

“The park is mainly used for baseball, Peninsula Little League. It's hard to grow proper grass here and the infields are dirt. That being said a lot of baseball is still played here with a lot of good players and parents. I have been coaching here for several years and find the experience quite enjoyable. There is also a children's playground here that is used quite often, people picnic and lots of dog walkers.”

“My kid's and I had a good time kicking up some dirt. They really like that it's not crowded and it's dirt and not a concert jungle of stuff. There's just not enough places for smaller kid's to ride jumps and build their skills without paying or trying to ride at a concert park. This is perfect for kid's to get ready for big jumps after they have developed skills they need. I hope this place stays clean for future kid's and others to enjoy this type of riding. I enjoy myself riding dirt over concert parts.”
