“Even though this park has no playground, it is our favorite. Its always very clean and well manicured. We have had no issues but only good times here. My kids love that there's grass and so do i because we sure do miss it! We will be spending our fourth of July here today playing ball.”

“Take the kids and go to the park or even to the Aviary to watch the birds, (entrance fee for the Aviary), children's area to play, run your kid in the stroller, or just walk around, organize a pick nick in the park with your family and friends, feed the ducks and geese in the pound (No bread of course, but lettuce and stuff, bread is NOT good for them) Just have some nature fun together, the house in the middle is historic and can be visited, for free, it has Indian artefacts, it's small but interesting. Enjoy yourself with or without anyone, but get out of the house or Hotel, do something.”

“Lovely park with two play areas, a large group picnic area, bathrooms, and beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking and access to the Stevens Creek trail. This area is very steep, but every part level has a paved walkway to make it accessible”

“Very pleasant hiking spot, paths are pretty good after the rain. It is a nice dog friendly walking space, on leash, but plenty of shade for them. A great quiet place, beautifully tranquil, and not crowded.”

“Nice place for a quick hike. Usually not too crowded. Usually plenty of parking in the lot as people try to save a buck and park on the street. Watch out for bikes on Steven's Canyon Rd.”

“Lots of choice of selecting trail. Most of them shady. Some part is very slippery. Be careful.”

“What an awesome place. First of, you are on the Pacific Continental plate once you cross over the San Andrea's fault. The area is lush and green with dairy farms covering the entire area. On our way to the point, traffic stopped due to cows crossing the road to go back home. I took the opportunity to film and take pictures. On the point is a short walking trail with fantastic views. From there you are able to watch the whale migration (Jan-Apr) if you're lucky. Deer roam the area and elephant seals hang out by Chimney rock in that cove. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets breathtaking.”
Address: 13100 Montebello Rd, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA
“Loop trail is short. Otherwise excellent: close by, not overcrowded, adjacent to a winery/picnic-area and etc. Picchetti Pond only fills after heavy rains and drains quickly. A special treat :) Abundant deer, views of the Quarry and Reservoir. Winery has peacock(s). Clean restrooms with flush toilets. Occasionally wild turkeys.”

“This is really an Open Space preserve enshrined as a Santa Clara County Park. It links Skyline Blvd with Stevens Canyon Road. The two main trails are the Table Mountain Trail and the Grizzly Flat Trail. Both meet up with the Canyon Trail which runs from the end of Stevens Canyon Road all the way up to Monte Bella Open Space Reserve. Note that there are a lot of bicycle restrictions within this park. Bikes are only allowed on parts of the Table Mountain Trail and Charcoal Road, and ONLY in the uphill direction.”

“A nice large trail, with an amazing view on the mountains and the ocean. Try to get a map before coming as many entrance doesn't provide information. There is many options, so make sure you well know what you want to do. Watch out for bikes riding fast, one just passed us, yelling at us to give her a way: I barely had time to catch my toddler. Hopefully she was the only stupid and dangerous rider in the area.”

“Love this place - there is an amazing vista point and the bike ride is really fun.”

“Fun road getting to this trailhead, very winding and narrow. Best part about this parking - it's free. Warning: no bathroom.”
Address: 9500 Pescadero Creek Rd, Loma Mar, CA 94021, USA
“Surprisingly large campground. Stayed at both group and individual sites and enjoyed both. Plenty of sunshine despite being in the redwoods. The creek provides just enough water to have a thrilling time with the kids. Plenty of places to explore up and downstream. Don't recommend staying here if your planning on spending most of your time on the coast.”
